CHAPTER 293

“What the heck!!! Why are my numbers so weird? Where are half of my titles? Why is my class changed to this weird stuff? Where are my bonus points?”

“Calm down Nao-chan. When you were promoted earlier, the new titles and skills should have replaced the old ones. This is thanks to your admin rank being changed as well as your race having a change.”

I was skeptical, so I inspected every new thing, starting from my class and subclass which I could no longer change.

“Oh wow, I am super strong right now.”

“I’m glad you are happy about the change. Oh, the stats are low because the metric is changed. 0 is the lowest value and the max that you can reach is 10.”

I really went through a huge change. I should probably use this time to adapt to the change. Otherwise who knows what might happen if I overestimate my power.

“Can you bring me back to Kapitalia? I still have to do some preparation before I head out tomorrow.”

“I can, but we should stay here for a while. I suggest you try launching a few attacks. I don’t think you have a true grasp on just how much your power has risen. If you start experimenting in Kapitalia, there would be nothing left from your mansion at the very best case scenario.”

I gave him a doubtful look, but still decided to do as he suggested and launched a light arrow at one of the stones in the valley. I barely put any thought or power into it. There wasn’t any change in shape or the trajectory of the attack so I was really caught off guard when the attack landed on my target. The moment it hit the stone, the explosion and the shockwave from the attack completely swept me and blasted me dozens of meters away.

“What the…”

“Unless you are absolutely sure about the magic you are using, don’t try to use it as much. I suggest you stick to Spirit Magic. Oh, and your unique attribute; you should experiment with it and figure out how to raise the power of your divinity seed.”

I nodded and shook away all the snow that had fallen onto me. I think that all attack magic is currently off limits to me. At least it will stay like that until I figure out how to use it like a normal person. Or at the very least where I don’t end up killing myself inadvertently.

I also wanted to test my physical strength, but unlike magic I felt like I could control it much more efficiently. I won’t have to worry about blasting something into smithereens when I hit it accidentally.

“Are there others that reached this state? I am sure that the Black King and the other two reached it, but what about normal people?”

“There are several, but you don’t have to worry about any of them. Most of them stay away from the public eye and they spend their time trying to become true gods. Even if you come across them, you will not be at a disadvantage. Our standing is a bit better than theirs, otherwise why do you think nobody was able to take out the Black King even after so many years have passed.”

That makes perfect sense. If it were easy to get rid of the Black King, things wouldn’t be so messy now. I took another look at my status and saw under the magic category that there are now so many new things appearing. I didn’t pay attention to it at first, but now I became intrigued.

“Why do I have more types of magic under each category?”

“That is thanks to your [World Mod] title. If you look at each magic and read the information of it, you would be able to understand how to use it. Same thing applies when you look at others using their magic, but you first need to have the affinity for that magic. You can’t start using earth magic all of a sudden. Speaking of which, I have a present for you.”

He took the wrapped box and tucked it into my hands. I didn’t care about formalities and started to unwrap it on the spot. Every time he gave me a gift it turned out to be something really special. But this time around, I was utterly stunned when I opened the box.

What greeted me was a blade adorned in dark orange, almost brown in color and its shape couldn’t be more familiar to me. I almost didn’t believe my eyes when I saw it and I could only stare dumbly not knowing what to do.

“Is this for real?”

“Totally real. I was planning on giving it to you later on, but this is as good of a time as the other. If you don’t believe you, just check it for yourself.”

I did as he told me and looked at the familiar description

It is truly the real deal. I jumped in joy and held the sword close to me. That is the fourth one I obtained. I only need to get three more. I ran towards the Archduke and gave him a big hug. I never knew that he was in a possession of one of the swords.
