Chapter 132: Rouge, Roberta’s Prisoner part 1

Ort Village sat on a rise above the lakeshore along the Alois Kingdom’s border. It was the northernmost point of Alois, and the junction where two roads circling the lake toward the former Belta region crossed.

A week after Cleria’s coronation, she and Elna were in Ort Village at the head of their troops. They had come in on the newly opened rail line from Ares. Because the work had been rushed, the two roads down to the lake were, for all intents and purposes, taken over by the railway tracks. They had never been particularly wide roads in the first place.

Unless an army was invading, or someone was fleeing the country, the roads were hardly ever used. Monsters attacked here as well—not as badly as in the Great Demon Forest, but enough. In fact, it was in this very area that Cleria had lost her retainers and nearly died.
