I was back in the Kingdom of Cecilio, which still had General Morel holed up in Cassineta, under siege from our allies. Even after Roberta caught Prince Rouge a second time, General Morel still refused to surrender to Ursula.

The war in Cecilio was ongoing, and our food-supply plan had been thrown badly off track. So we’d decided to build a factory on the Cecilio side as a food-supply base.

Together with Gloria, I’d combed the surrounding terrain from the air and finally found a site near Cassineta that matched what we wanted.

It was a fishing village that supplied Cassineta, one of the biggest cities in the country, with fish. It was separated by a small cape, so it wasn’t right on top of the city.

Compared to Cassineta—a natural, excellent harbor—the village had a wider sandy beach.
