The Big Blue Serpent had been hauled by train to Ort Village. I heard it was turned into skewers and devoured by everyone, to great acclaim. By the time we got back to the capital, we’d already missed out on those skewers.
As for the escape pod, we had the upper half of the Gigant Blue Serpent brought to Ares for recovery work. The Gigant Blue Serpent drew all the attention just by existing—nobody cared what it might have swallowed. It turned out to be the perfect smokescreen for transporting the escape pod.
Teo’s film was screened in Ares ahead of any other city. The citizens, starved for entertainment, loved it. Having the monster’s corpse as proof and being able to watch footage of the battle that killed it was apparently fascinating. Elna’s camera-ready performance was popular in its own right, too.
