Day 91 – Nighttime, White Weirdo Inn
The girls’ group all went to the bath together. That included the nice-bodied Sister-san, along with Royal Girl, the Maid Girl, and Merimeri-san. Right now I’m borrowing Armored Pres-san’s and Dancing Girl-san’s armor and using 『X-Ray Vision』 look at their composition. At the moment, there’s no way I could make armor of this quality, and there are too many unknown materials involved, but being able to take a peek at the structure and craftsmanship is very educational by itself. It goes without saying, but if anything defines the sacred duty of a Highschool Boy, it’s learning. I mean, I’m a student after all? In high school?

Softer metals might work better for the sake of shock dispersion or impact absorption so let’s try adding some copper or silver too. I should just try anything I can get my hands on. That said, I don’t have enough niello even for a multi-layered setup. Right now, the hardest and sharpest material I’ve got is an alloy of niello and iron, but it’s extremely heavy. After I made the idiots’ sword『Demon God’s Zweihander』 I experimented with it, but for general-use gear I only used it on blade edges or spearheads. Maybe I should try making thin sheets of niello alloy and attaching them to armor or shields? That’s starting to sound like some kind of traditional craftsmanship with which you can aim for a living national treasure status!
There’s no change to the listed equipment stats, but just adding a thin foil-like layer has noticeably boosted hardness. It does add weight, yet with physical attributes on level 100 plus, the difference is negligible, and the material is perfect for deflecting attacks. Looks like every piece of armor will need another full round of upgrades. I’m almost tempted to start billing them with an upgrade fee but that feels a bit like a shady business practice, so let’s not. Besides, the girls are totally bankrupt right now. They spoiled the orphan girls rotten, new clothes, mountains of sweets, and then went on a festival spending spree. Festival stalls had some outrageous pricing, okay? Nearly ten times the price of the same food at an inn?
I sort everything into new gear, drops, and so on, tweaking each piece and splitting them between for sale and test use. Monster equipment is mostly sub-par, so it goes straight to the sell pile, but hidden-room items and boss drops often require mithrilizing them to accurately grasp their performance.
Since this was a good chance, I tried mithrilizing Armored Pres-san’s 『Silver Armor』, I’d like to bump its performance and if possible get new effects, but it’s such a top-tier, ultra-high-tech piece that not only does it require volumes of mihtril, but even my mana is being drained like crazy. After the final coating, I appraise the armor. It went from『Full Silver Armor – Complete Immunity, Enhance All, Skill: Guardian, ? ? ?, Cursed: Fuses with Flesh』to『Holy Silver Armor – ALL 50% UP, Complete Immunity, Enhance All, Complete Resistance, Skill: Guardian, Godspeed, Divine Technique, Mirrage, ?, ?, Bless, Auto-Recovery (All Types), +ATT, +DEF』its performance went up, and even a few effects that were question marks got activated. I could add some effects of my own, but I’ll consider it after asking her what she wants first.
Next is Dancing Girl-san’s combined armor-shield-weapon 『Ancient Sarcophagus – Armament, Complete Immunity, Automatic Defense, Auto Mending, Enhance ALL, Magic Sword Dance, ?, ?, ?＋ATT, +DEF』I mithrilize it and do niello coating, and it also eats tons of mithril and mana, but Dancing Girl-san often uses a shield and fills as a tank despite being evasion specialist, so this Ancient Sarcophagus, that can become both armor and a shield is crucial. A huge chunk of mithril is gone, and with my MP completely exhausted, my body feels like lead. I grill a recovery mushroom, splash on soy sauce, and nibble listlessly. Still, overall safety just shot up. Since it’s my fault we’re down in dungeons’ deepest, deadliest floors every day, it’s only right, that as their master, even if in name only, that I take care of their safety. By layering the silver and mithril and a thin holy magic layer, I gave the armor a structure that disperses and absorbs impacts, and both pieces now have a healing property too. Best of all it even added「Holy」to the equipment names. I hope it will help at least a little against the darkness… And thank goodness it wasn’t the kanji for 「Sex」. Crafting gear while having 「Sex King」title makes it a real concern, you know? [1]
「Ughhh, so tired. I’m hungry too, but I probably canceled that out by eating too many MP mushrooms. What if I end up all bloated from the potions and turn into a tanuki from being too poofy? Everything aches, I’m dizzy, my body feels heavy, and I have no strength left. Yeah, I overdid it, but still, the gear turned out better than expected, so if I think of it as the price I paid, maybe it was worth it. Still, no matter how many times it happens, MP depletion is seriously dangerous. Getting low is bad enough, but total exhaustion is just… no good. If made hard and strong, it would just crack and shatter. That’s the flaw of rigid structures. But with soft structures, even when they exceed the limit, they endure. Even though there are Church people still in town, at the inn, no less, being this defenseless is probably bad. But it’s too late now. Even Wisdom ceased working. I toss off my heavy gear and just lie there, limp, unable to think, just rolling around.
Roll roll, roll roll… In that moment of hazy stillness, just for an instant, during a single blink, I let my guard down. Droplets of water still clinging to their damp hair and glistening skin, they stood there, wearing nothing but bath towels.

They must’ve felt I was losing consciousness and rushed over from the bath. Probably sensing my awareness slipping and leapt into action. You couldn’t ask for a more dependable, loyal bodyguards. But even the best bodyguards probably don’t rip the clothes and equipment off the person they’re protecting the moment they fall unconscious, right?
Yeah. They are not here to protect, they are here to attack. The looks in their eyes are those of supreme overlords. They take a glance at her newly upgraded armor, clearly delighted, then, licking their lips, turn their gaze back to me. From those gorgeous work of art-like lips on those perfectly sculpted beautiful faces, red tongue slips out and slowly, seductively traces the lips. The sight of it sends a chill down my spine. Yeah, definitely carnivorous.
Consciousness has returned, and MP’s trickling back, slowly. But I’m stripped bare, defenseless, pinned on my back. Dancing Girl-san sitting on my chest, knees spread wide, wrapped in nothing but a bath towel. Behind her, Armored Pres-san sits on my outstretched legs, also towel-clad. Yup, I can’t move at all..

As much as I would tried to distract myself with nonsense, Rajingan pierces through, pulling my gaze. Armored Pres-san’s fingers creep up my thighs, higher, deliberate. Highschool Boy’s restraint wavers. I recite pi, but 『Wisdom』 floods my mind with endless digits, so I can’t distract myself at all, damn it’s long, or actually, it’s endless! Then, a warm breath against my neck! So close!

I mean it’s mostly the worst case scenario usually?
Just a tiny bit will do. Just how many times was my MP lapped up, swallowed, stolen by those tongues before I recovered that bit. But I finally have the minimum necessary amount.
Not even half of 1%, a fraction that might as well count as a measurement error. The two know that such an amount is not enough to retaliate, and thus pay it no heed. After all, I’m stripped bare, no cloak, no gloves, no boots, no staff, no shoulder guard. My item bag is tossed aside, my clothes and necklace torn off in a blink, rings snatched. So they toy with me, slow and smug, savoring their game.
Yup, yesterday, didn’t have this item, so they overlooked the 『Anklet of Hundred Venoms – SpE DEX +40 %, Instant Death, Deadly Poison, Variety of Abnormal Status Effects, Glide Terrain』 at my feet. However, even with sensitivity amplified, lust and frenzy applied, and their defense lowered, I have no means to attack. That’s why they are so confident.
