Day 106 – Evening, the Theocracy, Streets

It feels as though I’ve been away for so very long, yet in truth it was only a short while ago that I gathered volunteers and set out for the frontier. When I heard that the Church army had invaded those distant lands, I hastily prepared, said my farewells, and departed for that place spoken of as the ends of the earth where monsters were said to run rampant.

Now it feels like a memory from ages past. We endured long days shaken in a carriage, then took a ship, and in the Kingdom of Diorer I received permission directly from the King himself to proceed to the frontier. After that, still more jolting carriage rides toward our destination… And yet the return was absurdly quick, three days and two nights, and we were back. What was all that hardship on the way there
