Interlude: Francisca and the Blades – Part 01

Golden hair cut neatly above the ears, smooth porcelain skin, clear blue eyes. Features as finely sculpted as a statue’s. Her stern gaze and rigid brows reflected her serious nature, but that same severity only enhanced her dignified presence. Beneath the black full-body armor she always wore, her body was hardened steel, lean and honed like a hunting leopard.

A warrior of striking beauty, her true nature was that of the bastard sword Infernal Blade, Francisca.

Her exceptional abilities made her the right hand of Siegfried, the captain of the Imperial Warriors. She managed Inhuman weapons, served as the corps’ vice-captain, and oversaw the other Infernal Blades under the Imperial Federation’s control.

However, Infernal Blades with human forms often had difficult personalities, and Francisca constantly struggled to rein in her unruly counterparts.

The western continent—west of the former Imperial territory, along the coast—was home to the Imperial Capital, the
