Last Wind – Part 09

“Run!” Gordon bellowed.

Aria turned to look and saw him facing off against Horatio. In his hand was the kris Infernal Blade. He must have picked it up during their last evasive move.

“Hilda, take them and fall back!”

“What about you, Captain?!” Hilda called out as she dashed toward Aria and Cecily, but Gordon didn’t answer. He simply unleashed the power of the Infernal Blade, wrapping himself in a mantle of wind.

But it didn’t work. The gathered wind scattered chaotically, even slicing at Gordon’s own skin. Aria suddenly recalled the man in black saying something about the Infernal Blade being powerful but difficult to control.
