As Hannibal confirmed their mission, the tension in the group grew even more.

At the foot of Blair Volcano were several Tatara workshops where skilled artisans refined jewel steel for the Independent Trade City. Choosing to stay until the last possible moment, they were assigned to evacuate last. So it was likely that a good number of them were still near the volcano.

That said, the craftsmen were probably more familiar with the volcano than anyone else. Unless something extreme happened, they could probably escape on their own without help. Of course, that didn’t mean they would just be ignored.

The real issue, though, was the lava flow.
