Trial – Part 01

Prologue

Under the leadership of Gordon Hawkins, captain of the Sixth District Knight Guard of the Independent Trade City, a rescue unit was formed to retrieve the Infernal Blade Aria. The unit included Cecily Campbell, Hilda Cavendish, and six other male knights. Disguised as traveling merchants, they departed the city, heading south across the continent and into the former Crowd Powers. There, they split into two groups: one to remain on standby and the other to infiltrate a small nation where Aria was believed to be held. However, by the time they arrived, she had already been transported somewhere else. Gordon, Cecily, and Hilda pursued her, eventually catching up to the wagon carrying Aria on a nearby highway. They managed to rescue her, but almost immediately afterward, they were ambushed by a warrior of the Imperial Federation, armed with the Infernal Blade Francisca.
