Unbeatable – Part 01

Despite the monstrous figures, the evening had brought hope to Lisa and the others.

The scene shifted to the following morning.

Cecily’s first priority was to reunite with the Knight Guard within the city.

However, the area near the main gate of the Independent Trade City was teeming with demons prowling about. Charging straight through the front gate was out of the question. Thus, Cecily and Aria decided to find an alternative route.

They chose to bypass the stone walls surrounding the continent side of the city by taking a longer detour.

At the end of the stone wall and the edge of the Ashen Woods lay a cliff known as the Clawmark. The name came from its jagged, canyon-like appearance. Lisa had once told them that the scars were supposedly the result of Valbanill stomping in frustration long ago, a story that felt too outlandish to be true.
