Unbeatable – Part 13

Hannibal, shielding his head and chest with his thick arms to avoid fatal blows, was consumed by immense fury. This unforgivable act rendered all the efforts of the knights, all their struggles, to nothing.

“I’ll kill you all!”

But his rage was for naught. Amid the blood smoke, a group of carriages appeared, charging into the chaos.

“What?!”

The driver of the leading carriage was a woman clad in armor, Francisca. Augustus, Lancelot, and Siegfried quickly boarded her carriage, which then sped away.

Hannibal chased after them, but another carriage blocked his path. He grabbed one of the rear wheels, scraping the skin off his hands in the process, and forcefully changed its trajectory, sending it crashing into the outer wall of a building. But that was all he could do. The remaining seven carriages quickly pulled ahead, leaving him behind.
