【Twelve Heavenly Generals】 Challenge to the Deva Kings No.6 【Started It】
1. Kokonoka
In the back of the cave between W2 and S1W2…
It is said that the guardian Deva Kings await your challenge.

This is a Deva King strategy guide thread.
While we’re at it, we decided to include guides for the guardian lion-dogs and guardian tigers before the Relay Portal too.
It seemed like the proper thing to do.
It seems connected too, so let’s also add the Twelve Heavenly Generals to the list of topics.
A summary can be found at >>2.

224. Mio.
Cool, so we know how to clear the Twelve Heavenly Generals event, but can we fight them again afterwards?

225. Rupert.
>>220
I think the Twelve Heavenly Generals by themselves are just a little stronger than the Deva Kings.
If you can take care of the monsters accompanying them, you’ll do just fine.
The problem is more with fighting many of them one after the other.
The damage really starts becoming exhausting after a while.
The biggest challenge of all of them is that Dragon Puppy.
It is extremely dangerous even at Lv1… The level in which it’s supposed to be the weakest.

226. Yosaku
I would say the Twelve Heavenly Generals at Lv3 are about as strong as the Deva Kings at Lv5?
But if you look at them individually, their combat styles are completely different, so honestly speaking I don’t think we can make simple comparisons like this…
Alone they’re easier to fight than a pair of Deva Kings, but they’re usually not the main problem about each fight.

227. Hiruma
>>225
I tried fighting them repeatedly, but I couldn’t get past four rounds.
That dragon is especially bad lol.
That Dragon Puppy at Level 1 is stronger than any of the Twelve Heavenly Generals.
It even knew how to read and dodge arrows coming from my party’s back line.
>>226
Come over and help us clear this one pleaseee

228. Tsutsumi
I guess that’s it after all…
I suppose we really do need to go for speed tactics the same way the Summoner fought the Deva Emperors.
Then again, all the strong parties must have fought in the tournament, so we could start expecting them to come back soon.
I saw the videos posted outside here, and they really are quite amazing.

229. Suzune
Oh! Speaking of videos… Is the Best Bout voting time in yet?

230. Reina
I’ve only gotten a few bits of info here and there, but it looks like the Guide Team is progressing nicely.
Getting one of those Vajra Swords looks like a pretty difficult task tho.

231.Yosaku
>>227
I still have to check the situation in the Northern Forest…
Maybe we should go after tomorrow?
Also look at the videos LOLOL
What the heck is that Summoner even doing

232. Mio.
>>228
Looking at it from the side, it almost looks like some rebellious demons fighting some guardian deities.
Can’t even tell what’s going on half the time.

233. Saki.
>>228
In general, I can figure out what kind of forces are at play, and if I get some info as to what all the skills are called, that would be even better.
I do want that Power Water quite badly.
The Deva Kings are quite weak against those Level 10 enchant spells too, so that’s good to know.
Although maybe it’s about time I start realising that copying that Summoner might be a bad idea…

234. Hiruma
>>228
Ah, that’s a pretty savage way to fight.
I know where he got that black rope from, but getting one of those seems like it’s going to be a lot of work.
Ah speaking of which, we don’t have the full story of everything about the Gozu and Mezu down yet, do we?
All I know they have in common is that if you spend time fighting them, you’ll definitely gain a step up in your fighting strength.
Same goes for the Twelve Heavenly Generals.
Thinking about how Player’s Skill might factor in how you fight against them is a bit tough tho…

235. Rupert.
>>231
Even his fights against the Deva Emperors are mostly like that.
Don’t think I even need to mention the Dragon Puppy.

236. Tsutsumi
Expansions are slowly progressing, and I want to follow that pattern of slowly gaining strength.
I know I can’t fight against the Twelve Heavenly Generals or the Dragon Puppy, so I quickly pulled out of there.
I’m at a level where I can comfortably grind the Deva Kings, but I really want to move on to the Deva Emperors already.

237. Suzune
>>236
I heard somewhere that their spawn patterns are random too?
Are there any other elements that anybody knows?

238. Hiruma
>>236
The levels tend to jump around quite randomly but the top level you can face does depend on how many times you fight them, I think?
The logic kind of makes sense, but actually verifying it is going to be a lot more difficult.

239. Rupert.
>>237
It’s been predicted…
But it hasn’t been verified.
More like there’s nobody bothering to do it. LOL

240. Tsutsumi
>>237
Yeah, all the guesses so far have been on the players randomly winning or losing against the Deva Kings.
I definitely do think their levels depend on the level of the party too.
If you party up with somebody at a low level, you’re more likely to go up against a Level 1.

241. Hiruma
That same logic should apply to the Twelve Heavenly Generals…
But since they’re Class Changed monsters, they’re still going to be quite scary I bet.

242. Rupert.
>>241
I don’t even want to imagine what a Class Changed Dragon Puppy would like…

243. Mio.
Huh… Should we start with analysing the chain of Gozu and Mezu after all…?
I have a feeling it’s going to be a lot of data to plow through tho…

244. Reina
The cave is widening nicely in some places, but I would love to have some more places to fight some stronger enemies.
Although I suppose fighting the Twelve Heavenly Generals comes first…

245. Tsutsumi
>>243
Yeah… Imagine all those players crowding into the caves too…
All the players are about to return from the Tournament too, after all.
Now that I think about it… The Deva King spawn points are starting to get crowded again…
There’s a lot of people just sitting around watching too.
It’s only a matter of days before the Twelve Heavenly Generals start to crowd up too guys.

246. Yosaku
I’ll check on how the forest is doing for a bit, but afterwards I’ll definitely come and check it out…

Strange Stone Raw Material Grade D+ to Grade C+ Rarity 2 Weight 0+

[Battle Style]
Battle Position: Air Dark Attribute
It has venom too.

[Remarks]
They naturally tend to gather together into swarms.
Their swarms range from about 5 to about 15
It can inflict the abnormal status condition Poison.
But because it drops the Strange Stone, as long as you have a mortar to turn it into Strange Power, you can have an antidote straight from them too.
Even if you don’t have any Pharmacy skills, just a normal mortar and pestle will do. It’s going to be a good idea to carry those around.

965. Luna.
Ooh!
Poison!
That’s definitely going to be an issue…
Most of the abnormal status conditions can be removed with Dispel Magic, but for some reason, it seems to not work on just Poison…
I remember there’s another poisonous near Remut, but the status condition is super weak and fades away in no time so it doesn’t really count I think.
What about its strength?

966. Guren
>>965
It looks like the status condition goes away on its own with time, but the damage it does to your HP bar is nothing to laugh at!
Definitely do recommend taking the antidote as soon as you get poisoned.
And it’s quite simple too. Just need to crush the Strange Stones into Strange Powder and consume it like that.
You can even make it without any Pharmacy skills.
You won’t get anything over Grade D from that though…
Well, it’s still much better than the continuous damage you take from the poison!
