I wanted to think about this properly.

I hadn’t encountered any monsters besides Bifrost Guardians and Einherjar Fighters in the map where I was.

I didn’t want to die a careless death at the hands of some new monster.
I took a piece of Portable Food from my 《Item Box》 and looked at Loewe’s stat screen while I gnawed on it.
First of all, what were the Class Change candidates?

Yeah…
Going for the Steppe Lion was out of the question.
That was dangerous… I almost hit confirmed by accident.
In other words, no matter how strange the name sounded, I would have to choose the other candidate.
Oh well, I was going to fuse him soon after the Class Change anyway…

As expected…
There was no hesitation at all.
I chose the Man-eater Lion.

How did Loewe’s appearance change?
Loewe’s appearance got closer to what I would call a respectable male lion.
He definitely looked a lot more noble, and he was a bit bigger too.
But the way he snuggled up to me definitely made him look more like a kitten.

I narrowed down the list of summonable monsters to just the new Summon Monster candidates.
As expected, the list was really starting to get short.

A very fast bee, at that!
It was a giant bee, but no matter how “giant” it was, it was only about as big as my head.

I finished a few more pieces of Portable Food with water, and then got up to keep fighting more Bifrost Guards.
What about Couturier?
I could get her to participate right away.
I noticed Couturier was extremely fast, so the probability of her getting hit by any attacks was very low.
But of course, that was on the presumption that I used strengthening spells on her.

How would Couturier do in her first fight?

She was fast!

She did even better when I used 【Enchanted Light】 on her.
Couturier could not only dash in and out of battle with amazing speed, but she could sting at an amazing rate too, so the probability for her to inflict a status condition was quite high.
But on the other hand, the damage from the sting itself was small.
On top of that, the poison didn’t do anything to the Heroic Spirits.
Well, Creep’s venom never worked on the Einherjar Fighters either, so I wasn’t surprised.
Couturier would have to show her potential in another way.

I understood that the Bifrost Guardians were quite tough enemies, but this was way too early!
But I suppose they really were much stronger than Couturier… She must have gained a lot of experience points.
