Looking around the battlefield, I realized that I don’t have that much to do, since Shishiko and Black Wolf are all over the God with the bird mask and Volff and White Wolf were fighting the one with the sheep’s mask.

When the dust gradually began to settle, I looked around to see if there were still some enemies left for me to battle.

They are launching their own attacks towards me, but I either avoid them, tank them head on or overpower them with my tonfa.

Well then, let’s go back to focusing on the battle!
With my mace I have crushed the head of the crocodile near me with a single blow.
There’s another crocodile right next to it.
He gets a bonk to the head as well.
Then another one came at me right after.
He is getting whacked by me as well.
It’s starting to look like a friggin’ whack-a-mole in here!
Just! Slow! The fuck! Down! And! Die! Already!

The beastly roars overlapped with one another as the enemies were dropping dead like flies.
But amid all those screams I could still hear the mermaid’s song very clearly.
It was a pleasant sound, soothing to both my ears and soul.
Finally, after what seemed like an eternity and then some, I managed to strike down both the God with the cat mask and the one with the jackal mask.
If I am not wrong, that should mean that all of the Gods were now dead.
Unfortunately, that does not mean that the monsters they managed to summon throughout the whole battle start to disappear as well.
Quite the opposite, actually.
There are still so many of them left!
But I guess it works for me just fine.
After all, I wanted some more prey to fight, and I got myself just that.
At this point, it was basically a competition between me and Volff to see which one of us will be able to kill the most monsters.
Jericho and the other two Wood Golems act as living walls, keeping the enemy’s numbers from overwhelming us.
Adel and the others continued to support me from behind.
Slowly but surely, the number of enemy monsters started to decrease.
Thanks to the defeating of the Gods there was no more reinforcements coming from them.
The last remaining one is a Wild Sheep.
But it had its blood sucked out by Teromea, and that was basically the end of it.
Whoops, maybe we really took out the Gods faster than it was actually necessary?
The battle might be over, but to be honest, now I regret ending it so soon.
I know that it was the correct thing to do, you don’t have to remind me!
I’m just lamenting the loss of all of that sweet EXP that could gave been ours if only we had kept going just a little bit longer.

Initially I thought it was strange how much I managed to obtain from that battle, but then it occurred to me that the number of enemies we have defeated was probably pretty big even for a six-people party.

As for Heather, the stat which increased along with the Level Up was SPI, so let’s use that other point to increase her STR.
