Chapter 252 Part 1
《Your friends have sent you 9 messages.》
I logged in at 6:20 am.
That’s a lot of messages!
Did I miss some sort of emergency situation?
I wanted to start reading them right away, but before that, I summoned Bunraku and got him to make me breakfast.
While he was at it, I got him to make enough for lunch and dinner too.
I was planning on going all out that day.
『All your commissions, including the one you put in later, are all going to be done around noon tomorrow, I think.』
That one was from Saki.
There were also a few pictures attached.
It was a picture of my equipment, but in the background I could see a lot of Leather Workers working on other projects.
It was starting to look more like a factory than a workshop.
『The work on your order is entering into its final stages. It’ll probably be finished by later today』
That message was from Margrid.
Hmm…
I could go to pick it up right away…
But if possible, I wanted to make it one trip and pick up the equipment for my Summon Monsters at the same time.
Oh, right.
It would be good to ask Margrid for some more equipment for Ouma…
While replying to her message, I told her that I was looking to get another necklace for a human-like Summon Monster.
『Long time no see. I can finally start seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.』
That message was from Lambda.
Oh, I see…
That was good news.
But in the case of an Avenger like Lambda, I heard that the character will have to be recreated from scratch once the revenge targets have been accomplished.
It looked like he wanted to meet up one last time before that happened.
It would be nice to meet Lambda again…
It seemed like he was in the north for the time being.
The north, huh…
I wasn’t too familiar with the north… In fact, I had never even properly had a stay at the N1 Area Portal.
Perhaps it would be worth exploring the place.
But I was honestly more attracted to what the south had to offer.
It was a very tough choice, but…
For the time being, I sent a short reply updating him on my situation.
『Thank you for all the help during the Golden Week holidays!』
Messages came from Adele, Irina, Haruna, Konohana, and Hyodor.
It looked like they managed to clear the series of Twelve Heavenly Generals in the opposite direction.
Everything is going back to normal, huh…
Apparently, the Summoners that Hyodor used to be in a party with are returning to the game too.
He was finally at a level at which he could contribute a lot to the party. They could train together and everything.
Yeah… That made sense.
Although do take it easy, alright?
『You can always teleport to the Wind Spirit Village. We’ll be there, so feel free to say hi whenever!』
Irina’s message was concluded with that sentence.
Although Adele and Irina said they were planning on going to the Grey Forest and tackling the island commonly known as the “Demon Island” after that.
Since Adele and Irina were doing so, Haruna and Konohana were going to tag along to try clearing the Demon Island event together with them.
Hyodor was planning on training on his own for a while in the Grey Forest.
They all had their own plans.
It wouldn’t do for me to just sit here and grow complacent all on my own.
Yep, I had to think of something to do too.
In my reply, I decided to attach a screenshot of Ouma’s stats. I had to let them know that such a Fusion Summon Monster combination was possible.
Well then.
What else was there to do?
Well, I was definitely going to pick up the equipment I commissioned from Margrid and Saki at noon the next day.
But until then, I could spend some more time training against the Twelve Heavenly Generals too.
Of course, I also wanted to get myself some more items.
Of course, that meant that my stock of Strange Salt (Holy) and Power Water would only grow more in excess though.
But that was okay. I really wanted to get myself another weapon though, if possible.
For the time being, I wanted to aim for another Light Quartz Dagger.
And after that?
Well, I guess I could challenge another one of the Twelve Heavenly Generals and see what I could get.
If I wanted to fight against a difficult enemy, I could always go back to challenging the Dragon Puppy.
A Dragon Puppy would definitely demand a lot of attention.
But what would happen once the Dragon Puppy got its Class Change?
That was a scary thought… But thinking of a Class Change honestly reminded me more of the potential of getting myself an Orthros than anything else.
It was going to take me some time, but I was looking forward to it.
Since I don’t have Gengetsu anymore either, I wanted to train Taihaku more too.
I finished reading the messages and had breakfast.
Well then.
It was time to continue where I left off the day before.
But what would my Summon Monster lineup look like?
I decided to summon Volff, Shishiku, Tigris, Remus, and Taihaku.
I wanted to train Taihaku as much as possible while he still had part of his MP bar.
I won’t let him go back into reserve until his MP bar was completely empty.
At least, I had no intention of recalling him.
It was going to be a bit of a hard day for Taihaku.
General Kubira Lv.8
Heavenly General Enemy Target Active
Battle position: Ground Steam Attribute Lightning Resistance
Paia Lv.3
Monster Enemy Target Active
Battle Position: Ground Earth Attribute Fire Resistance
I wanted to start the day by challenging a General Kubira.
I wasn’t hoping for another Jewel Treasure Sword or anything like that.
I was satisfied with the number of Light Quartz Daggers I managed to get the day before.
I was just looking forward to fighting the General Kubira for some good experience points.
《Summon Monster『Taihaku』Level Up!》
《Please add 1 point to a desired stat.》
The level-up came a lot sooner than I expected.
It was way too soon for another level-up!
It only took three fights for Taihaku to get another level-up…
The stat that went up with Taihaku’s level-up was SPI.
I put another point into STR.
Taihaku Imp Lv2→Lv3(↑1)
DEX 5
AGI 20
INT 21
STR 3(↑1)
VIT 3
SPI 25(↑1)
Skills:
Flight Levitation Echolocation Magical Resistance [Medium] MP Regeneration [Small]
Light Attribute Dark Attribute
As soon as I took care of the level-up, I got back to work.
There was still a lot of room in Taihaku’s MP bar.
I kept going. The General Kubira were perfect enemies to fight over and over again.
《Summon Monster『Taihaku』Level Up!》
《Please add 1 point to a desired stat.》
The pace of Taihaku’s level-ups was definitely starting to slow down.
It took eight fights for Taihaku to get another level-up.
In comparison to the previous levels, it was certainly a high number.
Was it because I was fighting the weaker General Kubira? Was it because I was leaving Taihaku to fight the relatively weak Paia boars?
Well, in any case, a level-up was nice.
The stat that went up with Taihaku’s level-up was INT.
I put another point into VIT.
Taihaku Imp Lv3→Lv4(↑1)
DEX 5
AGI 20
INT 22(↑1)
STR 3
VIT 4(↑1)
SPI 25
Skills:
Flight Levitation Echolocation Magical Resistance [Medium] MP Regeneration [Small]
Light Attribute Dark Attribute
What about Taihaku’s MP bar?
It was starting to approach its halfway point.
Just a little while longer…
It wouldn’t hurt to keep going for just a little longer.
In any case, it was taking a while for me to get another Jewel Treasure Sword.
Maybe it was because I was doing so well the day before, that getting another one was difficult.
《Summon Monster『Taihaku』Level Up!》
《Please add 1 point to a desired stat.》
The time was 9:50 am.
I tried keeping count of the number of fights I had against the General Kubira since Taihaku’s level-up, but at some point, I threw that idea out the window.
It was too much of a hassle, and I didn’t think it was particularly worth the effort.
I wanted to concentrate on just fighting.
There was an empty skill slot that came with Taihaku’s latest level.
Unlike Gengetsu, I decided to go for the Water Attribute for Taihaku.
The stat that went up with Taihaku’s level-up was SPI.
I put another point into STR.
Taihaku Imp Lv4→Lv5(↑1)
DEX 5
AGI 20
INT 22
STR 4(↑1)
VIT 4
SPI 26(↑ 1)
Skills:
Flight Levitation Echolocation Magical Resistance [Medium] MP Regeneration [Small]
Light Attribute Dark Attribute Water Attribute(New!)

Thanks for the treat.
