Chapter 252 Part 2
I was looking forward to training Taihaku some more, but at that point, it was already time to recall Taihaku.
There was less than 10% left of his MP bar, after all.
I recalled Taihaku and summoned Fang.
Soon after that, it was time to get a move on.
The reason for that was that I managed to get myself another Jewel Treasure Sword after a long series of fights.
It wasn’t likely that I would get another one of those for a while, so I decided to check out the other Twelve Heavenly Generals.
But which one did I want to challenge next?
Well, the General Haira was definitely out of the question.
I wanted to avoid the big risk that came with taking a low-level Summon Monster like Fang to a fight where I knew that the Dragon Puppy might involve itself in the fight my Summon Monsters would have.
I wanted to try and get myself a weapon I hadn’t gotten from the Twelve Heavenly Generals too.

The Heavenly General I ended up choosing was the Bikara.
There was no particular reason for that choice.
I just knew that the weapon it used was a trident.
But in any case, it had a lot of rats as accompanying monsters!
There were definitely at least 10 of them.
But looking at my own Summon Monster team I noticed something else.
My Summon Monster team consisted of Volff, Shishiku, Tigris, Remus, and Fang… All of them were beast Summon Monsters.
The only fighters in the ring that weren’t beasts were the General Bikara and myself.
The Hipping Rat didn’t have the atmosphere of a beast, but it was still a beast nonetheless.
I had a feeling Adele would have been delighted to be in my shoes.
Well then.
There was still plenty of time in the day.
The only weapon I had was a tonfa in my left hand.
At a moment’s notice, I could pull out my black rope or my Vajra Sword to use with my right hand.
I wanted to take down the enemies as quickly as possible.
Or at least, I wanted to take down the General Bikara as quickly as possible. It wouldn’t hurt to play around with those Hipping Rats.

It only took four battles for Fang to get a level-up.
If it wasn’t too much to ask, it would be nice to have the General Bikara be a little stronger.

The design looked just like a Vajra Sword, except for the fact that it was a trident.
But grasping it in my hand, the weight when I held it in my hand felt a little different.
The end of the blade definitely felt heavier, but that was maybe just because there were three of them.
What should I do…?
I exchanged the Vajra Sword that I was using for the Vajra Trident.
I just wanted to see how different the two weapons would feel in battle.

Alright, time to recall Remus.
I recalled Remus and summoned Ninetails.
It was definitely more convenient to have a healer on my Summon Monster team.
It would lessen the burden on me, and thus make for more stress-free battles.

The level-up came a lot sooner than I expected.
Well, I was fighting the General Bikara in a serial manner, and the General Bikara could be quite strong at times too, so it was understandable.

Anyway, about the Vajra Trident…
It looked similar at first to the Vajra Sword, but it had its own unique points too.
The blade was definitely shorter than the blade of the Vajra Sword.
In terms of attack power, it wasn’t as strong either.
But looking at the stats, the Power stat was higher for the Vajra Trident.
But that didn’t give many clues as to the usability of the weapon.
While I was testing the weapon, I also somehow managed to get another Vajra Trident, so I added that one to my inventory as a spare.
Looking at my inventory, I realised I had quite a large number of swords.
It felt like a good time to switch to another target.
Which of the other Heavenly Generals would be good to challenge…
I thought about it while having an early dinner.

Wait, some of the Twelve Heavenly Generals didn’t have any weapons, right?
I didn’t know what they would drop, but observing the pattern of the other Heavenly Generals, I had a feeling that it might drop something…
It was definitely something worth checking out.
