Chapter 252 Part 3
As usual, the number of enemy tigers was four.
I used the spell Resist Wind on my Summon Monsters and used some strengthening spells to improve their stats too.
But… It wasn’t that simple.
At the end of the day, my Summon Monsters had to deal with a tiger.
The damage they could do from just one bite was definitely not something to be underestimated.
It was nice that the monsters had markers that allowed me to identify them, but there were times when it was a bit hard to distinguish them from Tigris.
There was no shortage of enemies for my Summon Monsters.
That was one problem that I had to face…
But there was something else too.
There was another problem that I had to deal with.
Fighting the General Shintara was just way too fun!
I was looking forward to using my Vajra Sword to pierce the General Shintara’s body several times…
But I decided against doing that. It made every fight last a bit longer, so it wasn’t worth the effort.
Yep, no doubt about it.
My Summon Monsters took care of the Sturmtigers before I finished up my battle with the General Shintara.
That wasn’t good…
《Summon Monster『Tigris』Level Up!》
《Please add 1 point to a desired stat.》
Oh! It was finally time for Tigris’s level-up.
It was quite an interesting sight, watching Tigris fight Sturmtigers, but he didn’t get to use too many special abilities in the fight.
There was still a lot of room in Tigris’s MP bar.
Ah well, it would still be good to switch out Tigris.
There were a lot of other Summon Monsters that I wanted to give the opportunity to fight too.
The stat that went up with Tigris’s level-up was VIT.
I put another point into STR.

Hmm…
The beautiful line of numbers just broke down.
Well, that couldn’t be helped.
I recalled Tigris and summoned Bunraku.
Yep, I summoned Bunraku.
I also wanted to see how the new weapons I just got would work if Bunraku were to use them.
I was quite curious as to what the Xiuyaojing Bow would look like on Bunraku.
The time was 9:20 pm.
I could still do a few more things…
I was in very good shape that day.
If I kept going for a while longer, I had a feeling I could get to Fang’s level-up.
Things were going so well that I was quite confident about that.
I had no intention of ending the day without getting a major achievement like that.
《【Lava Magic】Level Up!》
《You have acquired the【Lava Magic】spell【Magma Field】!》
The time was 10:40 pm.
Hmm?
I learnt a new spell together with the level-up.
I wasn’t just using【Lava Magic】for the blade of the Vajra Sword either, so it was quite interesting how Lava Magic got the level-up.
Well, in any case, I had been experimenting a lot with my different magic skills against the various enemies I had to face.
In those experiments, it was true that I was using【Lava Magic】more than any other magic skill, so perhaps the level-up was to be expected.
Yep…
Well, I could lay off a bit from 【Lava Magic】now that I managed to get the level-up. I wanted to focus on【Steam Magic】next.
Anyway, about Bunraku…
The Xiuyaojing Bow was a pretty good weapon.
Well, maybe it was just that Bunraku was good, but the accuracy of the bow was amazing.
There were almost no misses with the arrows.
There were four tigers in the front, and on my Summon Monsters’ side were Volff, Shishiku, and Fang.
There was one less monster on the front line of my side of the battle…
But Bunraku managed to get two to three arrows into the tigers before they even met my line of beast Summon Monsters.
Bunraku’s movements weren’t especially quick either, but his accuracy was something to admire.
Almost every arrow hit its mark.
Although there were times when the arrows got blocked by the blades of wind that the Sturmtigers would shoot out.
Every time the enemy Sturmtigers used their special abilities, the mobility of my own Summon Monsters would drop by quite a bit.
But if it was just the slow that went through that was still okay.
Since my Summon Monsters had the Resist Wind spell on them, the damage that their special abilities did were lowered by a lot.
But the fights still proceeded onwards at a very nice pace.
But there was another issue.
I didn’t know when to take a break.
As long as nothing happened to snap me out of my battle frenzy, there was really nothing that could stop me from continuing.
I couldn’t stop myself.
It was a real problem.
The time was 11:50 pm.
Somebody, please help me.
I was still going at a nice pace.
I wasn’t about to complain about something like that.
I even managed to test out the new spell Lava Field that I just got from my Lava Magic skill levelling up.
It was a spell that temporarily turned a certain area of the ground into lava.
It was a spell that I had encountered before.
It was quite convenient too, in that the damage only affected enemy monsters, while leaving my own Summon Monsters unharmed.
But the damage in itself wasn’t that great.
It worked quite well to slow the enemy monsters as well, so that was good.
It was the perfect spell to support Volff and Shishiku as they rampaged through the line of Sturmtigers.
It was such a useful spell that even Fang could take the upper hand in some of the confrontations.
I used my new spell as much as I could.
It was a fun spell to use too, which only made it more difficult for me to stop.
But I knew that the time was going to come to a close.
It would be nice if I could just keep going…
Wait, what?
I felt like I was starting to lose sight of something important.
Wasn’t there some other reason why I was fighting the General Shintara over and over again? I had a feeling that it wasn’t just to grind myself some experience points.
I realised that when the General Shintara finally dropped an item. It felt almost like the General Shintara was reaching out to save me.
The item looked like this:
【Item】Cintamani Stone Grade B Rarity 5 Weight 0+ Durability ?
Effect: Magic Stone enchantment, Mana Crystal creation
A jewel used by Heavenly Generals. Changes depending on the user’s power.
Made of an unknown material. Its durability cannot be restored.
A tool that accumulates magical power within the user’s Magic Stones and Mana Crystals while the user rests.
It can also be used to transform crystal balls into Magic Stones and polished crystals into Mana Crystals.
Hmm?
What in the world…
Speaking of which, I only had one crystal ball on me left.
It was definitely something I had to check out.
Guessing from the description, it made sense to think that “rest” meant the time when I was logged out.
The time was 0:20 am…
It was a good time to deploy an Instant Portal and log out.
I tried slowly bringing my remaining crystal ball and the Cintamani Stone together.
When I did that…
Before the crystal ball even touched the Cintamani Stone, it was sucked in.
Hmm, was that all I had to do?
I wanted to see what would happen, so I tried logging out with the Cintamani Stone in my hand.
I was definitely looking forward to seeing what would happen.
