Chapter 286 (Forum) Part 2
【Event】 2nd Majin Invasion Countermeasures HQ 1st Group 【Looking for participants!】
1. Giedre
This is the Majin Invasion Event Countermeasure HQ.
Here we will be mainly summarizing the situation of logistical support and intel gathering.
I would like to ask for the cooperation of those participating in the event.
The main battlefield is expected to be in the west.
Transport of personnel from Remut using Return Home has already begun.
We’re also carrying in goods as needed.
In particular, I would like to ask for the participation of everyone in the Guide Team.
Our supply of free consumable items may be small, but we do have some.
The same goes for food.
We’re also taking consultation requests for things such as party matching.
You can find related threads and details starting from >>2 onwards.
Please proceed to the next thread once posts go over tentatively >>950.

We have finished gathering relief supplies from the Gray Forest.
The southern attack group is gathering in the Deep Forest and the Gray Forest.
The gathering of troops in the fishing village of Neeme has fallen behind schedule.
The Gray Forest marker is currently being circulated by 8 people.
To be honest, to transport people via Remut is a bit inconvenient.
I’d like to change the Remut marker to either the Spring of Mist or Twilight Castle.
Even if it’s just one person, can a marker be set to stand by in Remut?
It’s not urgent because we’re still gathering staff, but the sooner the better.
106. Saki

I’m the (temporary) Acting Commander.
We’re increasing the number of markers in the Silent Bamboo Forest.
A member who has Spacetime Magic has been asked to wait there, but I want to ask you to stand by in the Wind Spirit Village.
There have been some changes in the marking locations due to contact with other parties.
So I’m asking you to go there as an additional new marker.
Currently, we’re pretty tight in terms of the time limit for changes.
Those who plan to participate in W3’s Majin hunting can go directly from the Wind Spirit Village.
Be sure to read the overview about Instant Portal nullification.
There is a chance you may be forced back into the area portal.
If you will be online only for a short time, it’s recommended that you use a horse for transportation.
And when moving around, forming a union between three or more parties is recommended.
107. Guren
I’m from the Analysis Team
Well, it’s still the beginning and there are no results yet, but I’m looking forward to working with you all
Our main target seems to be moving in the direction of W6…
We need to know how fast they’re moving as accurately as possible
Plotting the wide area map should be enough
I would appreciate it if you could record and then report the place and time you had visual confirmation of it
108. Reina
I’m at the Silent Bamboo Forest
We’ve built a provisional supply depot, and we’ve stationed one Production Job player there
It looks like a small bamboo hut though
Although there are few, we have started distributing consumable items
So please use them if you need them
At the present time, a total of four parties have had their Instant Portals destroyed, and they themselves forcibly transferred away
No death penalties, as it has been so far
>> Giedre
We have members here who have agreed to our proposal to reorganize them into a riding party that can scout over a wide area
I will send you a member list separately
In my personal opinion, considering the safety margin for the riding party, we should have it be no larger than a 4-party union
A 3-party union might not have enough fighting power, and a 5-party union might face difficulties working together.
I agree with your opinion that a union of 8 or more parties are best when it comes to forming a brigade
It’s not too late to build cooperation between various members through actual battles.
I understand that it is necessary to have Production Jobs along, especially Alchemists.
Though I’m sure it’s going to be difficult because the number of members is limited…
109. Kaya
>>105
Roger that.
I have requested preparations to be made for a separate marker.
I’m standing by.
Personnel have already been sent to Neeme.
The same goes for markers.
110. Fiona
Here’s a summary report.
More than 10 Summoner party union teams have already started a wide-area exploration.
They will be verifying what’s the effective range of what’s destroying the Instant Portals in the morning.
So I ask you to please wait a little longer.
And thank you for your cooperation.
>> Giedre, Kaya, and Reina
The organization plan focused on troopers has been confirmed.
Could we have them merge on the scene?
Please rendezvous and organize in the Silent Bamboo Forest.
Additional supplies are already being prepared at the Wind Spirit Village.
>>About the Majin
They seem to be always riding a monster.
The most troublesome ones are the ones riding on Lesser Gryphons.
Please read the overview about Instant Portal nullification at >>5 for more information.
There are also some riding on Panzer Rhinos, but a basic union should be able to handle those.
Let’s take this as nothing but an extension of our usual hunting, and remain composed as we deal with them.
111. Fay
I’m in Twilight Castle.
Right now, most of us have logged out already, but we are planning to start a large-scale cleaning up in the surrounding area in the morning.
Please remember that our personnel will be temporarily depleted!
The same goes for supplies.
Our primary support system is the Silent Bamboo Forest.
Please note that.
I think we should be able to have more leeway in the afternoon.
112. Shinonome
Wouldn’t it be okay to have Fiona as Commander-in-Chief?
113. Yosaku
>>112
Agreed
Let’s go hunting monsters in the morning
114.zin
I am an assistant to the Analysis Team.
Why did you assign me to this post, Gureeeeeeeeen?!
Ok, enough complaining.
A team was quickly formed to plan observation and reconnaissance on site.
Its members are Hunters and Treasure Hunters.
We might end up sending them to the side of the Majins’ main force.
>> Gildre, Kaya
Things are already moving as you asked.
If possible, I’d like you to send me a Summoner as well…
115. Giedre
>>114
I’m currently looking for someone to send you.
I think I’ll be able to get back to you in the morning.
Summoners are considering reducing the Majins’ main force by using a brigade system.
116. Shinonome
>>110
Other than those who can ride, aren’t the slow-footed Dwarves not very effective for that?
117. Fiona
>>116
I’m thinking about being part of the main force in the battle line, but I haven’t decided yet.
I think it will be essential for base defense.
But that depends on how fast the monster’s main force is moving…
118. Komatai
>> Giedre
Gathering materials for the Production Jobs at the north is now complete.
Unloading is scheduled to begin in the morning when all personnel are available.
Hope it helps!
119. Lotty
I’m from the Night Guide Team.
It may be a bit simple, but here’s my report.
We have currently reached the western edge of the W5 map, and haven’t been able to get visual confirmation of any large group of monsters so far.
It seems that their movement speed is quite slow.
The Majins are attacking non-stop.
As it’s usually reported, they come in groups of three Lesser Gryphons and three Majins.
Of course, they engage in combat, but if they survive a fight long enough, they withdraw.
We’ve had several of them choosing to escape from us.
Arrows are undoubtedly effective at fighting them, but I believe arrows alone don’t have enough firepower to bring them down quickly enough.
I wonder if we can come up with any alternatives…
120. Giedre
>>118
Of course!
121. Rubin
A full-fledged Majin hunt on using as many unions as necessary starting in the morning…
We can call this a war already, right?
122. Guren
I’m checking videos and screenshots of the Majins’ side main forces…
Are there no wild bird counting pros out there?
123.zin
>>122
(-人-)
124. Kaya
It may be a bit much to say this, but this is a festival called Majin Assault event lol
It’s no good if you’re not having fun, you know?
Let’s take it easy lol
125. Guren
>>124
You may say that, but if you watch that video, you’ll see that it’s not getting any easier…
The source thread is a complete pandemonium lol
126. Hannes
I’m in Legias Village.
After we’re done with the handover, our main forces here will head west.
A larger than expected number of players have gathered here, and many of them are high-Level players.
They’re mainly players who have upgraded their gear in Remut.
I will send the member list shortly, so please look forward to it!
I will be logging out for now so I can be ready for tomorrow.
127. Gildre
>>126
Good night
128. Saki
>>126
Thank you and good night.
Tomorrow, I’ll step down as (temporary) CO so I too can go provide support to the front lines.
I would like to ask you for your help with various things after joining.
129. Lotty
We’re almost there, so don’t push yourselves too much for tomorrow!
The late-night group will stick around for a little longer before returning to the area portal.
130. Guren
>>129
We could do some forced reconnaissance too, right?
131.zin
You devil
Well, I guess there is merit in knowing the enemy’s military strength quickly?
Though you’d best be prepared to die and respawn if you do so *stares*
132. Lottie
>>130-131
You guys lmao
133. Kaya
>>126
Good night
I’ll stick around a little more checking that list until the reorganization is done!

Thanks for the treat.
