His stats have also improved.
His AGI got a boost.
There are various patterns when it comes to Predator Fusion.
Chimera, Nue, Orthros – each is quite different.
I have high hopes for what lies ahead in their growth.

Chimeras feel like they become more monstrous as they grow.
As for Orthros, it seems like they might grow more heads.
But I have no idea about how it is for Nues.
What will happen to Raibun?

What time is it?
It’s 11:30 AM.
My MP bar is pretty depleted.
Even after replenishing it with Mana Potions, I’m still only a little over 20%.
Leaving the Area Portal in this state would be dangerous.
So it’s definitely time to eat.

Let’s calm down a little.
Time to check the wide area map.
This Area Portal is an abandoned temple called Five Rings Temple.
Five Rings? Like the Olympics?
Well, whatever.

Let’s recall Aotsuki.
I’ll also summon Bunraku.
Of course, the ingredients are…
Rice and meat.
I feel like having donburi for lunch.

I also recall Oma at this point.
He still has more than half of his MP left, but it has still taken a large toll.
Time to summon Modulus.
Well, I need to see what I can do with my sewing skills, right?

I watched as Modulus spun yarn on a spinning wheel.
Stunning.
That’s all I can say.
She’s made twisted yarn out of some Flame Sheep Wool.
Is the twist a little strong?

What does it look like in terms of thickness?
I’m not too familiar with yarn counts.
I do know about cotton counts, though.
What would this yarn’s thickness be if measured in Deniers?
I can’t really tell by just touching it with my hands!
Though I feel like it’s somewhere around 500 Denier.

What about Decitex?
I don’t understand that unit, though!

The first ball of yarn is completed.
Oh no.
This has used up almost all of my Flame Sheep Wool, hasn’t it?
Should I go hunting for some more?

However…
My senses jolted me right back to the present.
There’s a certain smell.
Cooked rice.
And the smell of meat being roasted.

Rice served on a slightly deep plate.
Sliced pieces of Fighting Bull Beef have been casually thrown on top of it.
Gyudon.
Exactly, Gyudon.
With an egg on top.

Why, my tears are flowing.
No manners needed when eating a rice bowl.
Just cram it into your mouth!

After enjoying my gyudon, I used another Mana Potion to help recover my MP bar.
Still, the bar hasn’t even reached 40%.
It’s only a little over 30%, huh?
I would like to do some hunting on this Map.
I’m going to need to use at least two more Mana Potions before that, or things could get dicey.

【Heroic Summoning】 is a scary Skill.
It’s hard to decide whether to use it or not.
There’s no doubt that it’s very powerful.
But it seems that it takes a heavy toll on the Bonus Points I earn after a battle when used.

It seems like things are only going to get tougher if I don’t improve my fighting power.
Of course, that means I have to earn experience points myself as well.
Well, I guess I can just hunt here for a while.
After all, there seems to be no shortage of interesting opponents to spar with in this area.

Alright, time for some hunting.
Let’s exclude aerial combat from my current options for now.
Kyokuya, who has just leveled up and transformed, will remain in my team.
I want to keep Volff as a lookout.
That leaves three open slots.
Let’s go with Tigris, Shishiku, and Raibun.

What is the final lineup?
Volff, Tigris, Shishiku, Raibun, and Kyokuya.
A pack of beasts of prey.
Feels like something Adele would choose.
There might be opponents who try to attack us from the air, but that’s a different story.
I’ll be the one in charge of dealing with those.

 Guardian General – Seitaka-douji Lv.6
 Gohou Enemy Target Active
 Battle Position: Ground Fire Attribute

 Dokkaku Lv.2
 Gohou Enemy Target Active
 Battle Position: Ground Light Attribute

 Gohou Lv.10
 Gohou Enemy Target Active
 Battle Position: Ground

I’ve suddenly encountered these monsters.
The Seitaka-douji seems to be of a lesser rank than the one I fought at the Area Portal.
This one looks a little more like a man-eating fiend.

I’m also curious about the other ones around it.
Dokkaku?
And a Gohou?

Each Gohou seems to have their own different physique and weapons.
What seems troublesome is that several of them are equipped with bows and arrows.
The Dokkakus are of a higher rank than the Gohous, aren’t they?
It seems that most of them are wielding a Tokkosho.

There’s a total of 20 enemies?
There’s only one Seitaka-douji.
So is it Seitaka-douji and his cheerful companions?
No, there is no such atmosphere.

「True Fighting Spirit!」「Breath!」「Meditate!」「Intelligence Attack!」

The battle is chaotic from the beginning.
Well, it can’t be helped.
Actually, it’s convenient for Volff and the others, but…
After all, the problem is still me.
Since I have weapon arts, I can improve my skills in many ways.
I have no choice but to deal with this somehow.

What about my weapons?
A Petrified Wood Tonfa in my left hand.
A White Elephant Javelin in my right hand.
Taking the initiative, I threw it at the Doukaku who was in the lead, and then followed up with a kukri.
Now I’ve switched to the Lesser Sword Dragon’s Short Sword.
When the battle gets chaotic, prioritizing the number of strikes seems to be the better way to go.
Can I handle them?
Getting ganged up by too many might be troublesome.

「Darkness Field!」

I tried using that.
And what was its effect?
No good.
They seemed to have lost sight of me for a moment, but quickly adjusted.to the darkness.
Why?
Oh, didn’t Gohous have Night Vision?
I totally forgot!

Tigris, Shishiku, and Raibun are delivering a barrage of AoE attacks.
In the midst of confusion, they would leap forward and finish each of them off one after another.
Hey, guys…
Would it be okay if I’m the one who takes care of this Seitaka-douji?

Let’s leave the remaining few to my Summoned Monsters and have some fun.
Some hand-to-hand combat.
Fun and enjoyable hand-to-hand combat.
Even though I have a weapon on each hand, I don’t care.
I’ve been wanting to find an opponent I could enjoy fighting against as of late.
Well, what will it be?

《【Acrobatics】 Level Up!》

Now I regret it.
I shouldn’t have used the Lesser Sword Dragon’s Short Sword!
It meshes really well with close-quarters combat.
The sword alone managed to cut through a considerable portion of the enemy’s HP bar.
What a waste!

As expected, it’s on a different level than Orcs and Kobolds.
A formidable enemy.
And that’s good.
I wonder if I can fight about a couple of these in a row?

It’s a shame that it didn’t leave any items behind, though.

Kyokuya’s fighting style seems fine too.
The poison didn’t seem to contribute much, but the effects of his newly increased AGI were clear.
This is also good.

But, at the same time…
Wasn’t this battle a little too easy?
There are still opponents on the ground that I haven’t fought yet, so let’s keep the lineup as it is.

The pair of Fuutenki and Raitenki.
The four Deva Emperors.
The Lion-dogs A-gyo and Un-gyo.
There may still be some of them.
If I can win easily by using True Fighting Spirit, it might be a good idea not to use it.
Well, let’s try fighting all of them first before considering changing the lineup.

《【Jump】 Level Up!》

Hmm.
I like this map!
In the W7 map, I could only expect to be able to engage in hand-to-hand combat with enemy Heroic Spirits, but here, I can do that against any opponent.
The difficulty level is decent.
It’s good that I can adjust to somewhat stronger opponents with my True Fighting Spirit.
The downside is that items are hard to come by.
But it’s fun, so it’s fine.

Also, Call Monster doesn’t seem to work consistently.
But when it does work, it works really well.

What should I be careful about?
The Lion-dogs.
These guys come out in pairs, but they can call for friends.
Each battle against them can turn into an endless one.
However, it also means that you can earn large amounts of experience points all at once.

All of these opponents come with their own risks.
But it’s fun.
What about my lineup?
Let’s take the plunge and change it.
I’m now going with Volff, Tigris, Heather, Gouki, and Peptide.
This should do the trick.
Yeah.
Ah, I should keep on restoring my MP using Mana Potions.
I have a feeling I’ll be staying here for quite a while.

What time is it?
It’s exactly 2 PM.
I’m going to spend some time fighting here today.
What about the Lion-dogs?
I’m fully devoted to hand-to-hand combat against those.

Let’s try some consecutive battles.
