By the way, that new Tree Magic spell I’ve learned, Corrupt—what’s with that?
It’s a single-target attack spell that causes decay.
It’s harsh.
Way too harsh.
The stench of decay is overwhelming.

It seems to be very effective against these Snake-type monsters, so it’s been a lifesaver.
But when I used it on Lamias or Echidnas, it broke my heart.
Those beautiful forms, ruined.
It’s terrifying.
Like witnessing something I was never meant to see.
That’s what it feels like.

I’ll need to think about how I use it.
There are other options, after all. I’d rather let beautiful monsters such as those pass on gracefully.
But what about Lesser Basilisks or Wyverns?
Sure, let’s use it.
No reason not to use it on those..

That said, the Ice Magic spell Blizzard seems highly effective when there are multiple enemies.
Maybe it’s because they’re snakes?
Hibernation isn’t on the table for them, though, right?
The real problem is my Seal Magic.
Lamias and especially Echidnas seem to resist them
