Making a direct comparison is difficult.
You can’t really evaluate resistance boosts without taking damage first.
What’s clear, though, is the offensive capability.

Lubell couldn’t use Spirit Summoning this time, so we couldn’t make a comparison there.
How about Cyanos’s Spirit Transformation?
It definitely looks stronger.
Or rather, the spirit she transformed into was really something else.

It was an Ent.
A huge creature, on par with the Insectoid Beasts in size.
And it unleashed a wall of vines.
Or more like… a sea of vines spreading over a wide area?
It immobilized both the Majins and their monsters all at once.
It was insane.
Its MP consumption was heavy, and its effect had a short duration, but it was still pretty useful.
Though it likely wouldn’t work against airborne dragons.
Against a single enemy, though, it’s definitely something worth considering.
