The Spinks’s eyes were chasing Volff as he darted to and fro around the Spinks.
Even after ripping out my spear, the Spinks was looking off somewhere else, leaving its back completely exposed to me.
It had a nice backside…
But it wasn’t the time for that!
I had to take advantage of this opportunity that Volff was buying for me.
I only had to wrap around a bit to be in the perfect position to stab it.
I’ll finish you off now!
Zangetsu started charging at full speed again.
The second impact reverberated through the spear and into my body.
It definitely felt solid, but I knew that the spear managed to dig deep into the Spinks’s body.

It wasn’t a pleasant sight, looking at its face pierced with many arrows.
How was its HP bar looking? It was already at less than 10%.
And it wasn’t even just the concentrated attacks by all the Summon Monsters, but even Adele was shooting attack spells at it.
The spirit Zoom dashed in front of the Sphinx.
In response, the Sphinx started calling up a storm of fire above its head.
The Summon Monsters in the sky quickly fled.

That was definitely a bad move!
The fire above its head started flying at me.
In front of Zoom’s eyes, the wall of flames was turned in the other direction.
No, it was reflected.
The Sphinx fell back to the bottom of the pitfall while being burnt by its own flames.
Honestly speaking… I wanted to try out some more tactics on the Sphinx.
What a shame…

Haruna and Konohana started frolicking about.
Both their HP bars and MP bars were pretty exhausted, but they were still smiling and very excited.

It looked like both Adele and Irina had a level-up to their【Summon Magic】skill.
Not just me but everyone?

Yep, it looked like everyone got some spoils of war from that fight.
It felt nice.
But as expected, we lost a lot of HP and MP in the battle too.
Recovering our HP bars would be alright, but what about our MP bars?
I was still at about 60%.
Adele and Irina were around 40%.
Haruna and Konohana were at less than 20%.
About 10% for Hyodor.
Did we go a bit too far?
Yep. In one way or another, we definitely went too far.
It would be best to take a break from all the exploration.
That was a good idea.
Although I would definitely have to run it by everyone else first.

I recalled all my Summon Monsters and logged out.
I would be back soon.
I logged back in no time.
My Summon Monsters were still recalled.
「Well then, shall we form a party? Who wants to use Return Home to get back to the Grey Forest?」
「Me! I can do it!」
「I’m good too, I think?」
「I’m good to go too.」
So either Adele, Konohana, or Hyodor, huh?
Adele had the most room in her MP bar, so I decided to leave it to her.
「Return home!」
When the spell casting process was over, my field of view changed in a moment.
With Adele’s spell, we were all suddenly in the Grey Forest.
To think that it was possible to get back here at any time…
The thought of that felt quite nice.
It would make it possible to go even further… What would be waiting for me there?
There had to be much more formidable monsters.
I was looking forward to it.
We arrived just outside the Grey Forest.
The time was 11:50 am.
It was a nice time for lunch.
Konohana set up an Instant Portal.
We spent some time chatting, and then enjoyed the food that Adele and Irina made together.
It was as delicious as ever.
The bread was especially good.
It had the firmness of French bread, and it was covered in garlic butter.
It fit the stew very well.
Unfortunately, there were no seconds for me.
What a shame…
Haruna, Konohana, and Hyodor took some time to log out after the meal.
Their MP bars were quite exhausted, after all.
I couldn’t force them to go through any more!
We decided to meet up again at 6:30 in the morning, on the next day.
So, what about me?
Naturally, I kept going.
I had Adele and Irina to accompany me.
We chatted a bit, and then figured out a destination.
