After all the commotion, Shishiku was strangely calm.
I slowly creeped closer and tried touching him.
It was fine. Nothing happened when I touched him.

I started with Peptide. I definitely wanted to involve Peptide in some way.
But how?
I decided to try a handicap match.
I went with Telomere as Peptide’s opponent, but who would be Peptide’s partner?
Like before, I decided on Naraka.
I recalled Obsidian and summoned Naraka.
I set the match time to 10 minutes.
I instructed Telomere to fight without using any special abilities.
Well then.
Fight!
While they fought, I decided to keep my hands busy by working on an Ancient Stone Pillar.
Was it because the gap in their levels was starting to thin a bit?
That seemed like a good explanation as to why the fight actually looked quite fair.
Wait, no, it was just Naraka’s HP bar regeneration that made the fight seem a lot more balanced than it actually was. Telomere was still taking the upper hand in the fight, like she had done in the past.
Surprisingly, a lot of Peptide’s attacks managed to hit their mark.
But Telomere was never affected by the Poison status.
As expected from an undead monster. I didn’t think poison would have much of an effect.
Telomere only seemed to finally be losing ground when a pincer ended up firmly clasped around one of her legs.
It seemed like a combination of that and having her special abilities sealed off was enough to do the trick.
Oops. Almost forgot.
It wasn’t time for me to admire the fight.
I wanted to keep doing my best with the excavation process.

All of them ended due to timeout, with the victory going to Telomere based on the amount of HP remaining.

It was possible for me to summon another Summon Monster.
But I decided against it.
I decided against it because I wanted to see the dolphins that Konohana and Haruna would summon at the sea the next day.
It wouldn’t take much waiting on my part.
Well, I wasn’t really planning on summoning a Dolphin either. I wanted to summon a wolf to aim for an Orthros somewhere down the line.
