The surrounding air pressure grew more intense as forceful suction of air was pulled toward Tilly like a black hole.

A ball of wind rotated faster and faster and grew exponentially. At first, it was no bigger than a fist, then it was the size of a head and then a barrel. Even at this size though, Tilly didn’t let up and continued to pour every ounce of power she could into it.

Tilly was doing her best to concentrate but a nagging feeling kept pulling at her. No matter where she looked, she couldn’t find even a single trace of the one who created this mountain of rock.

(Where is he? To create a mountain of rock, he must be even more drained then I am. He has underestimated me though. Once I destroy this mountain, I’ll drain my last potion and fight him at full strength. For him to have a potion as well isn’t out of the question but I doubt he does. Otherwise, this is the perfect opportunity for him to attack me, yet he’s nowhere in sight. He must either be down below, recovering his strength, trusting that I will destroy this mountain or he’s somewhere far out of town, waiting for the dust to settle and attack me while I’m at my weakest. Hehe, this boy will be in for a surprise. There’s no way he’d think some random old bat like me would have one let alone two potions. Just you wait boy, grandma’s coming to spank that ass.)

Although the mountain was rapidly falling from above, Tilly felt incredibly confident.

(My Cannon Force is strong enough to level an entire castle. It can shred metal into dust and still have enough power to keep going. Just watch what happens when I put everything into it.)

Tilly’s arms were now completely spread apart and the wind rotating could no longer be contained between her hands. Her attack was now no longer inside her barrier and instead rotated above her head. With the air howling and ripping around her, her attack grew to the size of a large house.

Even Tilly her self feared this attack. Were it to hit her barrier, it would shred it instantly and even with her defenses, it would kill her on the spot. This was the most powerful attack she could muster and she doubted anyone at her level could stop this. Tilly may be small, old, and frail but her magic was well beyond that of a 3rd stage Mage.

As the mountain came upon her, Tilly as well could hold her attack at bay no longer. With both hands, she threw them forward and her will forced her attack upward. With a laugh, she whispered.

“Hehehe, taste my true Cannon Force.”

Her attack was of course much quicker than the falling mountain and came upon it almost instantly. As soon as it impacted with the mountain.

*Puff*

The mountain that was several times bigger then Edngaul, lt exploded. However, it was not as it seems. Tilly’s attack went into the mountain with absolutely no resistance and came out the other side as quickly as it went in.

Tilly’s eyes went wide with the sudden realization.

(It…was…hollow.)

The mountain was, in fact, no mountain at all. Instead, it was simply a ball of dirt, completely and utterly empty on the inside.

The false mountain rained down small particles, filling the sky with harmless dust.

Tilly’s brow filled with cold sweat as the fact of the matter sunk in.

(A…distraction!)

*BAM!*

The thought came to her far too late and Muteki rammed into her barrier knocking her toward the ground. With dust blocking her vision entirely, she was left unprepared and unaware. Muteki though was still not done and with hot flames shooting out from his boots, he accelerated and caught up with her.

*Bam!*

Once more he landed a crushing blow and this time he knocked her all the way to the ground. With her barrier still up, she was saved from a terrible impact but her barrier sunk half a foot into the solid ground. Her barrier warped from the blow and she could feel it starting to wain. She had used up most of her power firing her attack and was left with very little. If she used any more she would soon be drained entirely and Mana sickness would kick in.

Tilly felt the danger and quickly pulled out her last mana potion but before she could even open it, Muteki followed up.

As he came crashing down toward her, he extended a foot. From the back of his heel, a metal-like spike 5-6 inches grew to a sharpened point. Using the speed from his descent as well as his overwhelming strength, Muteki delivered a powerful heel kick onto Tilly’s barrier.

The wind barrier surrounding her made a loud cry as the air was torn apart and her and her barrier sunk further into the ground. Muteki’s heel sunk deeper and deeper, and the protrusion from his heel pierced completely through her barrier and stabbed a few inches into her shoulder. Tilly grit her teeth as she felt a searing pain. Thankfully her barrier didn’t fall apart completely and Muteki’s heel was stopped and could go no further.

Tilly attempted to uncork her mana potion and gulp it down but Muteki was relentless. With a backflip, he separated from her barrier and as soon as his feet touched the ground, the tips of his toes buried themselves into the ground as he kicked off the ground and launched himself forward.

*Bam!*

His knee landed on the side of her barrier, uprooting her from the ground and sending her hurling threw several buildings. As the buildings collapsed all around her and Tilly’s body was spinning uncontrollably, she did her best to grip the precious bottle in her hand and corked the top with her thumb to prevent it from spilling.

Muteki flew forward and before Tilly could regain her stability, Muteki punched out dozens of times in a roll. His hands were swift and covered in that dense metallic-like rock armor. Each blow was crushing and warped her barrier time and time again. Tilly was continuously knocked into building after building like and had no chance to recover herself. Now she no longer had the energy to fly.

(I just need one sip. One sip and I can take off.)

As Tilly was knocked around like a rag doll, all of her confidence vanished and was replaced with fear and desperation.

With another punch from Muteki, Tilly was sent flying once more. As soon as her body stopped and Muteki was about to throw out another punch, she did something insane.

Tilly, for a split second, lowered her barrier completely. With the energy, she was going to use to maintain her barrier, instead, she formed a tiny seed-sized wind sphere in her palm and fired it at Muteki’s face.

Muteki’s fist came flying forward but before he connected a sharp pain tore through his eye causing his punch to be thrown off.

This was the delay Tilly needed. Bringing the bottle to her lips she filled her mouth with the potion and just as she was going to swallow.

*Bam!*

Muteki’s fist swung past her in a miss but with that momentum, he pivoted his left foot and turn his hips. With that, he put power into his lower half and did a back kick.

The blow was greater then his punch and Tilly had just put her barrier back up. The power of his kick was reduced almost entirely but still his foot connected with Tilly’s chest, which broke something inside of her.

*Crack snap*

Several ribs broke upon impact and the potion that filled her mouth was spit out along with a mouthful of blood.

Tilly didn’t care though and as soon as she spit out the blood, she tilted the bottle once more and filled her mouth.

*Gulp*

As this enriching liquid fell into the pit of her stomach she could feel power gathering within.

Muteki was furious.

“AHHHHHHHHHHH!!!”

With a beast-like roar, Spike after spike protruded from his armor and he extended his arms around Tilly’s barrier and gave it a bear hug.

Tilly’s barrier was filling with power and strengthing at an astonishing rate but Muteki was having none of it. Beneath the surface of his armor, every single muscle of his bulged out in defiance and his grip strengthed. Several of his spikes began to tear through Tilly’s barrier but only a second later they were forced out as Tilly swallowed another gulp of potion.

“You will not break it boy, it’s my win.”

“NOOOOOOOO!!!”

Muteki’s strength exploded and his hands managed to connected behind Tilly’s barrier. Her Barrier again was on the fringe of bursting.

(This fucking boy.)

Tilly could feel her magic energy rising and took flight with Muteki attached. She began to fly into nearby buildings and slamming Muteki into the ground repeatedly. She was doing everything in her power to remove him before Muteki broke through but nothing was working.

Muteki’s body was just too tough and he ignored the pain. Two orangish-red flames appeared around Muteki’s arms and feet, the heat around the two rose. Muteki stopped her flight and countered with his. He using fire to propel himself and her using wind, the two came to a standstill and hovered in mid-air. Neither one could fly in any direction.

Muteki squeezed tighter and tighter and the barrier shrunk in response.

Tilly’s eyes went wide and she gathered a Cannon Force between her hands. Muteki roared once more at the top of his lungs.

“BREEAAAKKKKK!!”

Tilly in return cursed him.

“Fucking Die!”

*BOOOOOOM!*
