Mei had flown thousands of feet up into the sky and hovered over the clouds. Kazuki didn’t like putting his life in other people’s hands but right now there was little choice. In order to awaken Asuna, this was the best idea he could come up with. Having to rely on Shin catching him was indeed a terrifying thought but Kazuki needed Asuna. She was the only person who had a slim connection to the element of time. If she could use her senses to figure out the purple/grey fog then maybe she could figure out how to get back to where they belong.

So with a leap of faith, Kazuki held Asuna within his arms and jumped from Mei’s back.

*Shwhoosh*

As Kazuki and Asuna fell, the air ripped passed their eardrums. The pressure in his head was intense but it was not enough to overcome him. Kazuki focused his ki energy and drove it into the depths os Asuna’s body. Like little hands, his energy wrapped around every single one of her nerves and he began to stimulate them.

Kazuki’s thoughts were if he could activate all of her nerves at once then it would be enough to shock her awake. The thing to worry about though was the amount of stimuli she would receive. Too much and her nerves could overload her mind and possibly cause her to actually go into shock or maybe even cause a seizer. The worse case from these two was obviously death but with Kazuki here, he would make sure that didn’t happen.

With his ki invading Asuna, he could sense her body’s condition. With nearly instantaneous feedback he could read and feel every minute detail as though he were reading a book. With minor tweaking here and there he could deliver a certain amount of energy as well as take his energy back.

With the overload of nerves leading to death, the opposite would fail to awaken her. In the end, Kazuki had to perform a strict balancing act. Focusing his mind to the limit and pushing out all distractions, Kazuki shut his eyes and felt Asuna’s presence with his all. Ignoring the tearing wind vibrating his ears to no ends, ignoring the cold trying to pierce the layer of ki around him and cut him, and ignoring the weird rising feeling he was getting in his stomach as he fell from thousands of feet up. Kazuki shut it all out and concentrated on Asuna.

(Come on, wake up Asuna, wake up.)

As Kazuki continued to pour his energy into her, Asuna’s eyelids fluttered as though they would jump open at any second. Her fingers twitched chaotically and her toes curled and opened as though she were possessed.

Kazuki increased the flow of ki and Asuna’s body responded in kind. Her natural reflexes responded to Kazuki’s ki and her legs kicked about but Still, she wouldn’t wake up.

(More, she needs more.)

Kazuki retracted the layer of ki he had used to cover her body from the cold. The wind whipped her hair all over and the cold pricked at her body like tiny needles.

(Still not enough, more.)

Kazuki inhaled deeply.

(Sorry Asuna, this might embarrass you.)

Kazuki grabbed at Asuna’s clothes and pulled.

*Rippppp*

Kazuki tore Asuna’s clothes away at once and exposed her supple skin to the world. Something deep within Kazuki, whether it was simply curiosity or the fact that he was a man, Kazuki couldn’t help but open his eyes and steal a peek. Kazuki’s lips parted slightly as he stole not one nor two but as so many glances that it was no longer a passing glance but a full-blown stare. Kazuki was not one to be distracted easily but seeing her taut body and the slight curves that shaped her, along with a smooth shapely ass and breast that were bigger then he had thought. Kazuki couldn’t help but swallow dryly.

Kazuki’s hand reached forward and landed on her bare breast.

*Squeeze*

Kazuki unexpectedly groped her tit and with a soft moan that should have disappeared with the loud passing wind entered into Kazuki’s high sensing ear.

“Mhmm.”

Only when Asuna’s face crinkled and shivered fiercely from the clear cold, did Kazuki’s pull his hand away. His attention and focus snapped back like a cracking whip.

(Don’t get distracted dumbass, fuck!)

Kazuki slammed his eyes shut once more and sent more ki into Asuna’s body.

With her nerves become more and more sensitive, they received and sent more and more information at a greater and greater speed. As the wind rushed past her, as well as the combination of the piercing cold scratched and prickled her body all over, Asuna’s eyelids fluttered more intensely.

The ground was coming closer and closer into view.

Shin peered up into the sky and watched as Kazuki and Asuna fell from on high. He filled his body with power and the element of wind wrapped around his legs. He could just barely make out their appearance in this darkness but he locked on target and prepared to take off. Sam as well was about a hundred feet away from him. He stood in a horse stance with his legs slightly bent and spread apart.

“Sam! Are you ready!?”

Shin called out and Sam gave a simple nod.

(Here we go!)

With the two falling coming more and more into his sight, Shin willed his power forth. The air around his feet rotated faster and faster before Shin inhaled a long deep breath in through his nose. Holding it for 2 seconds, he slowly exhaled.

*Huuu Haaaa*

(NOW!)

Shin kicked hard off of the ground, cracking it like a spider’s web and shot himself forward. A single step brought him almost 50 feet across the ground. After that 50 feet, he kicked off the ground once more and appeared in front of a waiting Sam. Sam held his arms below him and as soon as Shin was in front of him, he immediately began to throw his hands up. Shin’s left foot landed into Sam’s hands followed by his right. Shin almost did a squat in Sam’s hands before he sent all of his strength and power to his legs.

With Sam’s throw and Shin’s jump, the combined power sent Shin soaring into the sky, like a bullet.

At the same time, Kazuki was sending more and more energy into Asuna but she still would not awaken. Her body twitched all over, it was clear she was on the verge but if Kazuki used any more ki, it could kill her. Kazuki opened his eyes once more but instead of looking at Asuna’s body, he stared at her face and shouted.

“ASUNA!”

“WAKE UP!”

“DAMMIT ASUNA! WAKE UP!”

Kazuki filled his voice with ki and roared into Asuna’s ear.

“WAKE UP!”

*SHINE*

Asuna’s body responded to this shout. Her body trembled and writhed as though electricity had just shot through her. A bright purple light began to peek out through her eyelids and shine in Kazuki’s face. Kazuki’s voice rang out once more.

“I SAID WAKE UP!”

Asuna’s eyes snapped open just as Shin was rising up upon them. Shin’s power rotated and a torrent of wind began to form around the three just as Shin was only a few feet away. Just as he was about to grab the two. The purple light in Asuna’s eyes glowed several times brighter and then…

(Eh!?)

Shin’s hands seemed to pass through the two people’s bodies in front of him before, like a lie, the two vanished from right in front of him.

Shin’s mind reeled as his eyes darted in every direction in confusion. His neck almost did a 360 as he looked yet found nothing. Not just him. Nunully up above and Mei, Kimi, and Sam down below, even the many villagers who had come out and observed the situation. All of them were left confused and some were even frightened.

As Shin fell to the ground, just before he crashed violently, he kicked at the air and a gush of wind slowed his descent and he landed softly. Kimi ran up to his side and started barking at him.

“What did you do? Where are they?”

“Me? What the hell are you talking about? Did you not just witness what I did? Just before I got to them, they just disappeared into thin air. This ain’t my fault, I did everything right.”

Kimi pointed her staff at Shin accusingly.

“No no no, knowing you, you definitely screwed up somehow and now god knows.”

Shin and Kimi broke out into arguments as Nunully and Mei descended. Mei gently lowered Nunully, who then ran up to everyone else.

“What happened, where did they go?”

Sam shook his head, while Kimi and Shin continued to argue.

“Geil! Geil!”

An old man came running out of the Dining hall with everything he had. He tripped over his feet and fell in front of Geil.

“What is it old man, can’t you see…”

Geil cut his words short as he could see the old man looked out of it.

“Old man, what’s the matter?”

The old man grabbed his hat that had fallen from his bald head and twisted it in his hands not knowing quite what to say. All he could do was point in the direction of the Dining hall and stutter.

“Iiiin…th…there.”

Geil gripped his ax and ran toward the Dining hall. Sam and Mei were a step faster and appeared in the Dining hall before anyone else. As soon as Mei arrived, she screamed out at the top of her lungs.

“BIG SIS!!!”
