Muteki held Sam up by the back of his neck as he made his threats.
Kimi looked worried and was about to give up but her eyes looked toward Kazuki for reassurance. Kazuki as well looked at Asuna and she gave him a slight nod, unnoticed by others. Kazuki perfectly understood. Grabbing Mei by the wrist, he whispered so only she could hear.
“Mei, when Asuna makes her move, transform and take everyone away.”
(It seems that only this fat one can fly. If we can just get into the air then I can manage him somehow. After that we’re out.)
Kazuki placed both of his hands behind his back and looked slightly upward as though he were actually considering Muteki’s proposal to surrender. Yet his hand behind his back were flashing ancient hand signs.
Muteki was no fool though and could see he was dragging things out. He gripped Sam’s neck tighter and Sam’s face began to change color.
“Stop wasting my fucking time. This is already a pathetic fight and now you dare stall. Surrender or…”
Before Muteki could finish his sentence, Kazuki shouted.
“ASUNA!”
Asuna’s eyes flashed with a bright purple light and Sam vanished from Muteki’s grip. At the same time, Danny, Shin, and Nunully vanished as well and reappeared right next to Mei who had now transformed. NOw that Asuna was in the third stage, her powers had increased by severalfold and she could now move many people at once. Muteki, as well as Varia and the others, were genuinely surprised. Muteki’s surprise didn’t last long and he and the others raced forward.
*Bang*
Nunully wielded her staff divinely and the blue mana crystal at the top shined brilliantly before a large thick dome of ice rose up and encased Muteki and his rushing forces. Asuna then grabbed her by the waist and jumped on Mei’s back. Shin didn’t hesitate either and snatched Sam and Danny up at the same time before landing on Mei as well.
Abura was confused by the sudden turn of events happening around him but he knew things weren’t going how they should and he grabbed Kazuki by the shoulder.
“Wait you’re not supposed to leave. Stay here ok?”
Kazuki stared at Abura unbelievingly.
(Is this overgrown meatball an idiot?)
Kazuki though couldn’t waste time with useless thoughts. The flame behind him formed into a small pebble-sized blue fireball. Had he more time, he could have made it even bigger but time was clearly not on their side.
Kazuki reached forward and slapped Abura’s hand away, his flame landing on Abura’s thick wrist.
Abura didn’t like his hand being slapped away and was about to retaliate when he felt a cold, freezing, numbing sensation rapidly spread throughout his wrist. He had never felt anything like it and looked down in confusion. He saw a blue flame wrap around his flesh and in that instant the pain hit him.
“AHHHHHHHH!”
Abura screamed at the top of his lungs as the flesh literally melted from his bone. Abura fell to his knees and his fat trembled as screamed out in dread.
Kazuki grabbed Tsura and laid her gently down on Mei’s back.
“GO!”
Mei flapped her huge wings, stirring up the air before she took to the skies. Abura was pushed down from the force of the wind and literally began to roll away.
*Boom boom boom boom*
Muteki struck the ice in front of him several times before he covered his hand in black rock armor with one devastating punch he struck the wall once more and roared.
“RAaaaaaaa!”
*BOOM!*
The ice exploded and shattered all around him and he was out. Muteki saw Kazuki and the others getting away and he became furious. He scanned for Abura and saw him rolling around on the ground in pain.
“USELESS!”
Varia still held the blue flame above her hand and she used all of her strength and launched at Mei. At the same time, Muteki took a step forward and dark armor materialized over his entire body. He gathered power into his body and ran forward. After about 10 steps he gathered the momentum he wanted and leaped into the air.
*Fwhoosh*
The blue flame Varia launched came racing toward Kazuki and the others, Mei though sensed it and with a quick adjust of her wings, her entire body tilted slightly and the flame flew up and away from her.
Shin saw this and felt relief then he spotted Muteki’s jump and smiled confidently.
“He thinks he can reach us with a jump, the fool.”
*Fwhoosh*
Once more flames erupted but this time they were not from Varia but instead from Muteki. Two orange flames erupted from the bottom of his feet and he flew toward Mei like a speeding bullet. This time Mei couldn’t dodge. Just before Muteki collided with her, dozens of spikes harder then metal sprung up from all over his armor. He became a living spiked weapon.
*Shinck Shinck Shinck Shinck Shinck *
*Screeeeeeeee*
Several sharp armored spikes dug deep into Mei’s body all at once and she almost fell out of the sky from the pain alone. Even with her improved body and her incredibly tough feather, even those were not enough to stop Muteki’s spikes.
Kazuki roared at Shin and the others.
“GET HIM OFF!”
Shin was careful but quick and kicked out several wind blades onto Muteki. Muteki took the sharp blows repeatedly and his armor cracked over and over again but before it was fully broken through, the fragmented pieces reformed and his armor repaired itself in no time. At the same time, Asuna tried to teleport him away but found her energy was practically drained. S
he had just reached the third stage but she was no god. After teleporting nearly her entire group just a moment ago she needed more time if she were going to use her power again. Instead, she pulled out her steel daggers and stabbed between the gaps in Muteki’s armor, directly penetrating his eyes, destroying them on the spot.
Muteki grunted in pain and leaned his head back just enough that Asuna’s daggers didn’t reach his brain. He released one hand and grabbed both daggers simultaneously, plucking them from his eyes. A greyish liquid spilled from his sockets and Asuna tried to pull her daggers out of his grip but found his strength monstrous and couldn’t budge them. Instead, Muteki gave a pull as well.
Asuna couldn’t hang on and risked begin dragged off of Mei’s back. All she could do was release them bitterly. Muteki smiled under his helmet and threw the daggers away. At the same time, he began to heal one of his eyes and reach up to climb atop Mei’s back. Mei was helpless. She couldn’t shake him off, otherwise, she risked throwing everyone from her.
Kazuki and Shin both came over and began to kick Muteki in the head. At the same time, Kimi concentrated her light and fired heavily focused lasers at his back. The lasers concentrated the light and heated up Muteki’s armor to a terrifying degree. Soon the armor on his back began to glow red hot and Muteki could feel his flesh began to melt. This though only made Muteki happy and he felt alive.
Nunully fired several spears of ice down on top of him. Her blows seemed to be the most effective and his grip began to loosen. Her spears actually penetrated into his armor and stabbed him. Blood poured out from the cracks but his armor again repaired itself rapidly.
Shin and Kazuki kicked and stomped at Muteki’s head repeatedly, combined with Nunully and Kimi’s attack, his grip was slipping. Muteki got the timing of the two’s kicks and just as they went to stomp and kick him again, several spikes shot out from his helmet all at once.
*Shinck Shinck Shinck*
Shin was stabbed twice in his, Once in his leg and once in his foot. Kazuki as well caught an armored spike in his thigh. The two leaped back simultaneously as blood began to pour from their wounds. Muteki grinned under his helmet. Nunully and Kimi were both about to fire more of their spells when Muteki suddenly reignited the flames beneath his feet and turned up the strength of the flames as well. Mei involuntarily started to roll in the air because of this and everyone began to slide.
Mei flapped her other wing as hard as she could and began to regain her aerial balance. Nunully and Kimi shared the same frightful look and were about to throw out more attacks when Muteki chuckled under his helmet.
(They have good power but little experience. I’ve fought all my life while they’ve just stepped into the world. Too bad, had they more training, with their combined strength maybe they might have been able to kill me. Hehehe, time to end this.)
Muteki suddenly cut his flames off from his feet. Without the opposing force from him, Mei’s extra work suddenly threw everyone in the opposite direction as she began to roll uncontrollably. With her counter force going in one direction, Muteki decided to be a kind fellow and give her roll a bit more speed. As she rolled in that direction, Muteki just as suddenly as he cut his flames off, he reignited them but instead of going against Mei’s force he added to it, increasing the speed of her spin even more.
Kazuki and the rest grabbed everyone who was unconscious and held both them as well as the feathers on Mei’s back so they wouldn’t get thrown off.
With a little time, Mei could recover from this but how could Muteki allow that. Before she could regain her balance, Muteki released himself from her for an instant before grabbing onto one of her feathers. His spikes could stab through her but couldn’t tear her wing completely so instead, he gripped her wing and wrapped his entire body around the joint. Muteki filled himself with strength before flexing his hips and both pulling with his arms and pushing with his legs, gritting his teeth he put every ounce of strength into his until.
*SNAP!*
Muteki broke the bone in her wing in one move.
Mei if she had eyes right now, they would have gone wide in anguish. She released a shrill cry before her body fell from the sky.
*Screeee!*
Muteki released himself from her and while hovering in the air, he watched them all fall to the ground.
Kazuki roared at Asuna.
“Asuna, teleport us to…”
*Bang!*
Kazuki couldn’t finish his words and they all crashed into the ground below. Kazuki’s vision instantly went black.
