The wind howled and screamed as it tore away at the world. Hundreds of men and women attempted to flee when they saw the tornadoes starting to form but many had no chance. The air spun so fast that before it even stole these people away from the ground, it ripped at their skin, shredding it and peeling it like a soft apple.
The surroundings were filled with the painful cries of those that survived the removal of their flesh but even with so many emptying their lungs with everything they had, no one could hear them over the combined strength of the four shrieking tornadoes. Any and all who were exposed to this had the drums in their ears explode and leak dark blood.
The screams wouldn’t last though, rather they couldn’t. As the tornadoes lifted them all up as though they were weightless, they quickly were crushed. Trees were uprooted and shattered and even parts of the nearby mountain broke apart and came whipping around like meteors. These people never stood a chance. Impaled by branches bones crushed by trees and exploded by incoming boulders.
These warriors that came out and fought bravely, risking their all for their leaders were turned to nothing more than a mist of blood in the end. They hadn’t even the time to regret coming here. Those that did manage to escape, stood far away from the chaos of battle. They stood side by side with their enemies, no longer the will to fight. Staring up at a lone figure in the center of it all with both awe and deep fear.
Some wondered if Triska was a god. Many had never seen such power. It was one thing to manipulate the laws of nature and form a fireball or materialize water to fill a well. This they’ve seen many a time. This they knew was a part of everyday life and not a rarety but what Triska was doing went beyond what any of them could possibly imagine.
To manipulate nature they could understand but to control its forces, they couldn’t comprehend. They watched Triska float unbothered in the epicenter of these four tornadoes, in the middle of all this danger and they were left stupified.
Not even a thought of anger came from them. Not from the enemy that had been directly impacted by Triska nor her own men who should at the moment rightfully feel a sense of absolute betrayal. They could do nothing as they watched their comrades being whisked away into the sky. They could not interfere when their friends, the ones they had fought alongside many times before, were ripped up, smashed, and turned to meat paste in the sky above by the one they followed with absolute loyalty.
No, all they could do is stare up, stupefied.
Triska floated in the air. The four tornadoes rotating around her as though they were orbiting a star.
(Degra you should feel honored. I have never had to use this on this scale but with my weapon taken, you’ve forced my hand. This is my trump card, this is how I defeat your devilish eyes. You may be able to slow me down with your ability but with these four tornadoes surrounding me, this becomes the perfect offense as well as the ideal defense. My power will destroy you from a distance and you and the other worms will never be able to get close to me. Now reveal yourself and die!)
With her will alone, these tornadoes were controlled like extra limbs. With a look or rise of a hand, these tornadoes wrecked the land beneath her. She had already killed several hundred all on her own but during the process, she did not see her enemy. She had seen every face in her storm before they were devoured by her tornadoes but her enemy never appeared.
Even as she looked at the edge of the battlefield, she spotted several of her own men and Degra’s but not Degra himself, nor Kazuki and the others. Only when she spotted a Dome made entirely of ice did she put things together.
(That woman with the pointed ears was at the 4th stage like me and she could use ice. That little hobit hole must be hers. Does she think she can keep me out.)
Triska simply raised an arm and her power extended outward. One of her tornadoes picked up a dozen or so trees and she aimed them at Nunully’s dome of ice.
(GO!)
All at once, the trees circled the tornado one last time before being launched at the cold obstruction on the ground below.

Kazuki’s eyes snapped open and he said.
“I think I know how to win. Everyone, give me your clothes.”
Shin laughed.
*Hah*
“Good one.”
Asuna and the others laughed nervously while Kimi became even more pissed. Degra had just finished explaining how Kazuki had entered his soul world to try and come up with a plan but as soon Kazuki opens his eyes he says something like that. She was already not really buying the whole soul world thing but When Kazuki spewed out he had a plan, followed by everyone give me your clothes. Kimi had reached her boiling point.
She jumped to her feet and tried to rush at Kazuki again but again Sam stopped her and held onto her.
“Dammit Sam, he’s fucking around even now and you’re holding me back. Take off our clothes! I’m not going through that humiliation, not again!”
Sam held on anyway but he was tempted to let her go, hell he was tempted to go over and give Kazuki a good smack as well but he knew Kazuki wouldn’t spit out crap, at least not in a life or death situation like this. He suppressed his urge to hit Kazuki and held onto Kimi.
“Kimi let’s hear him out first.”
Sam said that and felt Kimi flip on him. She kicked him in his shin to try and get him to let her go but he still hung on.
“Sam let me go right now. That bastard only knows how to make things worse and he’s finally lost it. In what way would us giving him our clothes ever get us out of here alive! He just can’t admit that he’s really got nothing left. Just look at him. He’s not even trying to deny it.”
Kazuki did indeed go silent which made everyone question his intentions. Kazuki however didn’t just sit around. He tore off a tiny bit of his sleeve before biting into his thumb. A few drops of blood came out and he began to write something using the ancient symbols. He very quickly finished his inscription and walked into the center of everyone.
“Watch and you’ll know.”
Kazuki held the torn piece of his sleeve in the palm of his hand and everyone looked over curiously. Kazuki activated the newly made Talisman and a ball of water no bigger than a grape materialized in his hand.
Kimi was not impressed in the least.
“So what, It’s a fucking ball of water. I told ya you were full of shit.”
Kazuki didn’t explain anything and looked to Asuna.
“Asuna, I need your help with the next part. I need you to use your lock power to hold this ball of water suspended in space.”
Asuna didn’t know what was going on but she had no reason to object. She extended her hand and called out.
“Lock.”
The ball of water didn’t seem to have any change but as soon as Asuna did that, the talisman sitting in Kazuki’s hand shined brightly for an instant and the ball of water instantly froze. Everyone witnessed this and was left with a so what expression.
Kazuki held the grape-sized ball of ice and smiled.
“This is how we’ll destroy those tornadoes out there.”
Kimi’s anger faded and she no longer looked at Kazuki with hate but instead, she was left dumbfounded.
“He really has lost it. That’s it, we’re gonna die here.”
Even Degra shook his head.
“How long were you in your soul word for and that’s what you came up with.”
Kazuki shook his head and he glanced at Danny’s corpse for a split second.
“I had some help but you all are missing the big picture. This really is the answer. Did you not see how once the talisman was activated it instantly materialized that water.”
Kazuki waved his hand in the air and several outfits, along with blankets a few tents and other things made from cloth came out until there was a large pile next to him.
“My things aren’t enough but with these things, plus what Tsura, Mei, and Nunully have in their storage items and all of your clothes, I think we can do it.”
Everyone still looked confused.
“With these, I can make a shit ton of talismans. We’ll launch them into the air and the tornadoes will suck them up. Once they activate, in theory, they should all materialize a good deal of water before freezing instantly.”
Kimi looked at all of the clothes and blankets and laughed.
*HAH*
“Even if you can do that, how does that stop her tornadoes? Besides, with this amount, there’s no way you can fill the tornadoes with them so what’s the point.”
Kazuki looked around for a moment to see if anyone had realized it yet but by the looks of it none of them had.
(I’m not even from their world but they should have learned some of this in school right?)
“I don’t need to fil the tornadoes up. I just need enough for the temperature to rapidly drop.”
Still, everyone was quiet.
“Tell me, what does a tornado need to form?”
Shin caught on.
“Oh, tornadoes need a bunch of warm air at the top and a bunch of warm air at the bottom, and that’s how they work right?”
Kazuki almost slapped his head when he heard this.
Asuna smirked at Shin.
“How can you use the element of wind and not know anything about it?”
“What was that?”
Asuna ignored him and answered Kazuki’s question.
“The basics in order for a tornado to form, it requires warm moist air and cold dry air. When the two air masses meet they create instability in the atmosphere and a tornado happens. God Shin did you pass anything in school.”
Shin snapped back at her.
“You asshole! that’s basically what I said.”
The two were about to go at it but Kazuki got in between the two.
“Asuna’s right Shin, so relax and just accept the loss.”
Shin grumbled for a moment and buried this one in the back of his mind for now.
“Asuna, you’re great as always.”
Asuna didn’t know how to feel after receiving this compliment and just went quiet. Kazuki didn’t mind and continued on.
“In order for a tornado to form that’s what they need. A balance of the two maintains it but what do you suppose will happen if there is a drastic turn in temperature. Say the temperature rapidly cools and the balance is ruined.”
Everyone perked up and they looked at the small ball of ice in Kazuki’s hand completely differently. Within their minds, they all shared the same thought at this moment.
(It will break.)
