*Clap Clap BOOM KA-BOOM!*
The monster started to clap its hands in excitement. Hearing the simple melody Kazuki played on the makeshift flute, the monster was more than giddy and quickly reached for the flute. Kazuki on that note took a step back and hid the flute behind him.
“Have you already forgotten, this is the prize and you only get it if you win the game. Besides, have you not notice a problem with this flute?”
The creature at first was angered that Kazuki pulled away and was ready to smash him but hearing there was a problem with the flute, he became worried.
“Wutz wrong wit it?”
Kazuki held the flute up. Showing it off, he said.
“This flute is far too small for you. Not only will you not be able to play the right notes with your large fingers but the amount of air you’ll blow will overwhelm it and will break it with just a breath. This right here could be considered what the prize will look like on a much smaller scale. As you saw, I made this in only a few seconds. If you win the game, I can make another one but that one will be from a boulder. That way it will fit your size and you can actually play it. So what do you say, do you want to play marco polo?”
The monster scratched its head as it processed Kazuki’s words.
“So if me wen u make me a bigger gooder flute thing and if me lose i gets to eat u?”
“Whoa what!? No no no. If you lose you don’t get to just eat me, that’s not how this works. If you win you get the prize, if you lose you lose, you don’t get a prize.”
*Bang!*
The monster slammed a fist into the ground, shattering it like a cracker, leaving a deep crater behind. Kazuki almost fell over from the ground breaking underneath his feet but just barely managed to stay upright.
The dead like eyes stared coldly at Kazuki.
“NO! If me wen i gets da flute if me loses me get to eat u or i just dont play da game n i eats u right now!”
Kazuki could see there was no room to negotiate. This monster could kill him with a single blow and currently, there was no way to escape from him. Kazuki could hear the skittering and rumbling in the distance and knew he was almost free. He just needed another minute.
Kazuki nodded.
“Ok, you’re right. We’ll do it your way. If you win the game, you get the flute, and if you lose you get to eat me. That sounds fair. So shall we get started then or do you need time to get ready?”
“NO no no lets play now now!”
The monster then sat on the ground and put a finger in front of Kazuki.
“This is…”
As soon as he said that, a terrible feeling filled his stomach and at the same time the monster flicked his finger and hit Kazuki with a heavy impact.
*Whack*
Kazuki had no time to defend himself and felt something crack within him as he was sent flying into the distance.
*Boom*
Kazuki hit the ground and tumbled over and over again for another dozen or so feet before he skidded face down to a stop. Kazuki felt blood running down his face and found several of his teeth had been shattered in his mouth.
*Spit*
A few mouth fulls of blood with 6 or 7 teeth were spat on the ground.
(This fucking psycho. My ribs, this beast nearly killed me just now.)
Kazuki started to heal his body as fast as possible while at the same time he held the clacker legs firmly in his grip. Applying his ki to them both, he amplified the noise as he rubbed them together.
Several hundred feet away, the monster had already closed its eyes and its ears began to twitch in reaction. The monster pointed directly at Kazuki in the distance and called out.
“Ur Ther!”
Kazuki put on a playful voice and lied in response.
“No, but ur close. You have a few more guesses before the game is over, so listen very carefully and try again ok!”
Kazuki continued to rub the pair of clacker legs together while adding ki to them.

At the same time, he let the Azirian blood run wild. Pushing it out of his body, he collected all of it into the empty chamber in his broken ruler. He used the godly aura and his own to quickly expand the chamber increasing its size by several times. A few seconds later, he moved to another location and rubbed the legs again.
The monster located Kazuki’s position with his hearing and called out in the darkness once more.
“Ur over ther i knw it!”
Kazuki again lied, denying it.
“Sorry try again. That was pretty close though.”
Once more he collected more and more Azirian blood into the black ruler container and moved again.
Kazuki could feel the ground starting to tremble and he could hear low clicks in the distance.
(Almost here.)
Kazuki did this two more times until he found that he had collected enough blood. Feeling his body constantly being eroded away by the Azirian blood and then having to heal himself and then repeat that so many times in such a short time frame was exhausting both physically and mentally. Still, he persevered.
Once more he rubbed the legs together with ki.

Kazuki could see the ground moving a few hundred feet away.
(There here.)
Kazuki smiled cruelly and spoke softly.
“This is your last guess. If you mess up, you lose and you get to eat me, hehehe. Give it your best shot.”
The monster became suspicious. Every time he was sure of Kazuki’s location. Up til now, his ears had never failed him. When he was small, it was because of his ears that he had survived a multitude of dangerous situations. He had trusted them and they had kept him alive until he was big enough and strong enough to walk these lands without fear. Right now, his ears again were telling him exactly where Kazuki was. They indicated that Kazuki was now directly behind him and only a few feet away.
The monster pointed behind him and called out.
“Right behind!”
Kazuki jumped into the air and landed on the creature’s head. Before the creature knew what was what, Kazuki opened the chamber on his broken ruler and poured gallons of Azirian blood on top of the goat-headed monsters.
The monster’s eyes snapped open as he knew something was wrong. its head was suddenly covered in that stinky smelling blood. It clapped its hands together above its head trying to grab Kazuki but Kazuki leaped away.
The creature was fast though and tried to grab Kazuki who was right in front of its face. Kazuki knew this was coming and pulled out several porcupine needles he had collected and launched them directly at both of the creature’s eyes. The creature tried to cover its eyes but only managed to protect one.
*Ch ch ch ch*
Four long needles pierced the monster’s left eye, blinding it.
*ARHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!*
The monster roared in pain. Kazuki didn’t know if it would actually work but judging by how his broken ruler was able to slightly cut the beast’s hand, he figured the porcupine’s needles that were almost as hard and sharp as the spikes jutting out from the cliff could penetrate its eyes. After all, eyes were much softer than flesh and bone. Seeing the creature grip its eye in agony and roar in pain, Kazuki couldn’t help but laugh as he snidely spoke.
“Sorry, you guessed wrong again!”
As the dumb creature was panicking, Kazuki saw that they were already surrounded by hundreds of Clackers. He had called them all over with a certain signal from the legs. Taking the legs once more, he changed the signal from COME to PREY.
*Clack clack click click*
The sound reverberated in their large cone-shaped ears and they sniffed fiendishly at the air around them. Kazuki then reduced his heartbeat to a crawl and no longer moved. With their senses, Kazuki was now nothing more than a rock while the blood-covered monster appeared to be a large weakened meal.
Hundreds of mouths now hung open, revealing razor-sharp teeth. Thick foul-smelling drool clung to their mouths before falling to the ground, staining it. All at once, the Clackers reared up before leaping at the monster.
Like a tidal wave, all of these clackers covered the monster in only seconds as they bit at it and tried to eat it. As soon as they went in on the goat-headed beast, Kazuki finally had his window but he didn’t know for how long. Turning tail, Kazuki filled his body with ki and splintered the ground beneath his feet as he fled faster than the wind could blow.
