The monster’s ears twitched as it heard that familiar sound. Turning its head, it witnessed Kazuki, once more rise up unnaturally. His bones popping into place and his body regenerating at a rapid rate.
“Dis iZnt right. Wut Iz going ons?…Y wonts u talks!?”
The goat-headed creature got an eerie feeling whilst staring at Kazuki. It felt something was wrong and out of place.
Kazuki had just finished healing and took a single step forward. When he did that, the creature unconsciously took a step back. Only after it took that step did it recognize what it was starting to feel.
It looked at its trembling hand and questioned.
(Iz dis ma fear?)
The creature gripped its hand making a fist. Seeing the small Kazuki in the distance it felt both shame and embarrassment.
“me not scared me da strongest there ever wuz. U just has tricks. Me crushes u and den there will B no more tricks.”
The fear bubbling up was suppressed and rage spilled out instead.
The creature kicked off the ground and charged at Kazuki like an unstopable train.
*RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!*
Unleashing an unbridled roar, the creature appeared in front of Kazuki in the blink of an eye.
“DIE!”
Just as the monster was about to bash Kazuki into oblivion, Kazuki’s body blurred and he vanished. The monster’s fish-like eyes widened in shock. Kazuki had completely disappeared from his vision.
“Fasters U can’t B Fasters den me!”
*Fwap Fwap*
The creature’s wings unfurled and with a few flaps of its wings, its large body stopped a forward charge and changed directions in an instant. Kazuki’s movements were odd and seemingly random, causing the creature to lose sight of him. Using its heightened sense of smell and hearing it swiftly caught Kauzki’s scent and found his location.
Flipping backward, the creature came stomping downward with a heavy foot.
*Bam!*
More cracks appeared on the ground but Kazuki’s smooshed corpse was nowhere to be seen.
*CRUNCH*
Again a bite was taken out of the creature’s body, this time from its leg. The creature reached down to grab Kazuki but Kazuki’s nails dug into the creature’s flesh and like a squirrel, he crawled around the other side of the creature’s leg and up its back like the creature was a tree, covering hundreds of feet almost instantly.
After swallowing the flesh in his mouth, he grabbed at the creature’s ear. Kazuki inhaled deeply before roaring at the top of his lungs.
*RAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!*
Filled with ki, his voice was amplified several times over. The sound came rushing into the creature’s ear from so close range that the inside stood little chance. Blood sprayed out of the ruptured ear and sprayed Kazuki in the face-covering him from the head down. With a lick of his lips, the blood came off of his face and chest and disappeared directly into his soul world.
This sudden attack caused the monster to stumble sideways as it winced in pain. Its hand shot up like lightning and tried to snatch Kazuki up in one move but once more Kazuki’s body blurred and he vanished. If there was fair enough light one would be able to see dozens of afterimages left in his wake but in this darkness, Kazuki appeared and disappeared like a shadow.
When he reappeared he was already on the other side of the creature’s head. Once more he inhaled deeply.
The monster realized what his plan was and tried to shake Kazuki of but Kazuki was far too fast. The ki amplified his voice again and his roar rang out.
*RAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!*
The vibrations in his other ear were too much and his ear burst almost instantly.
“NOOOOOOOO!”
The burst eardrums caused the creature to stumble about with a wave of dizziness. It tried to grab Kazuki once more but its spatial acuity at this time was all kinds of fucked. Its hand reached out but was almost 20 feet off from grabbing Kazuki. At the same time, Kazuki had already jumped on the side of the creature’s head and crawled over the beast’s face like a demonic spider. Something inside was calling out, telling him exactly what to devour at this moment. Kazuki’s hands reached in and grabbed something that had a slight squish to it. With his strength brimming, Kazuki snatched this piece of flesh away and gave it a bear hug.
*SQUEGG*
“AHHHHHHHHHH! ME EYE!”
With the eye squished in a bear hug, Kazuki opened his mouth so wide that the sides of his mouth tore open. Stuffing the squished eye into his mouth, it vanished into his soul world and into the ever-expanding hole at the base of his soul tree.
Kazuki had already destroyed one of the creature’s eyes with several porcupine needles before he was eaten. This time around he had destroyed the other as well as destroyed the hearing in both of the goat-headed monster’s ears. This left the monster both deaf and blind and with it, the anger and rage transformed to fear and panic.
Kazuki jumped down to the monster’s nose and bit down, just as he was tearing flesh from the tip of the monster’s nose, the monster was already thousands of feet up in the sky, flying around in all kinds of random directions. It tried desperately to grab Kazuki but Kazuki kept crawling around his body like a spider. Each attempt left the creature with less flesh and more open wounds. An absolute feeling of dread took over along with the panic and the creature began flying and slamming itself into anything and everything to try and crush or through Kazuki off.
Kazuki at this time was still mindless and had no inkling about the creature’s terrifying actions. All he knew right now was one thing and one thing only…Devour.
*BAM BANG BOOM CRACK!*
Mountains shattered and forests were uprooted and overturned. The water from the river was impacted so heavily that water ascended miles on up until it came back down as rain. The world at the bottom of the trench was in pure chaos right now and trembled for several hours Until the creature came crashing down into the ground for a final time.
*BOOOOOOOOOM!*
The many craters that were half a mile deep and the ground that had become powder due to repeated beatings could take no more and for miles around, the ground completely caved inward.
The monster, Kazuki, and anything else that was within a few miles at this moment fell through the ground for several thousand feet until…
*SPLASHHHH!*
They met a new river, one that was deep under the ground. One that was wider than a forest and rushed like a raging storm.
The monster grabbed a large pillar of green rock that stretched upward for several hundred feet. Holding onto it with everything he had, the monster was still losing his grip. At this moment and time though he could care less. His only motivation was to rid himself of Kazuki. With hundreds of small wounds covering its body, the creature was feeling the effects of blood loss. Along with the physical strain of constantly throwing itself into things to shake Kazuki loose, its strength was waning. Still, it couldn’t care about that and only thought about shaking Kazuki loose.
“Leaves me… Leaves me and go fars away!”
The creature kicked Kazuki who was nibbling at his ankle like a piranha. With a final kick, he managed to loosen Kazuki just enough that the river took him away.
The monster sighed in relief and felt completely and utterly exhausted. The power and force of this water were so great that even the monster could not fight against its might and with its strength now gone it too was swept away shortly after Kazuki.
The moment Kazuki was separated from the monster, inside his soul world, Kai and Danny stood a distance away from him. Every time Kazuki appeared inside his soul world, he always spawned right next to his soul tree. At the moment, he was still in a slumber of sorts. After he was weakened due to a broken body, exhaustion, as well as starvation, his mind went into a coma-like state. Now that the nameless technique filled him with energy, as well as his body, being completely recovered and even improving by leaps and bounds, his mind should have snapped out of it already.
Kai and Danny were observing him from quite a distance away. Because the nameless technique was activated, it formed a hole at the base of Kazuki’s soul tree and was creating a terrifying suction force. Both Kai and Danny could feel its pull and knew if they got too close, they would be sucked inside and would no longer exist.
“Danny, now that the monster is gone, we need to awaken Kazuki, otherwise who knows what else will happen.”
“Right but the question is how?”
Kai pointed at the top of the soul tree.
“Simple, all we gotta do is drop his ass from the top of the tree.”
