As Kazuki’s words casually floated over, an unnatural tremble rippled through the monster’s body.

The goat-headed monster towering above Kazuki, standing over 300 feet tall, was actually scared.

“U…U r still alive!”

Kazuki smiled.

“A small fall into a puddle, why wouldn’t I be alive? Enough about me though, you didn’t answer my question. Care to join me for a meal?”

The monster shook its head fiercely.

“NoO, U r gonna bite mE agains.”

Kazuki acted as if he were disappointed.

“Aw, that’s too bad. No matter, I’m still gonna get my fill.”

After he spoke with a cryptic tone, Kazuki took a single step forward. As he did this, the large monster took a step backward and pointed at Kazuki with a shaky finger.

“U stays away FRom me’s. U mONster!”

Taking another step forward, Kazuki pointed at himself as if he didn’t understand what the monster was talking about.

“Me a monster. No no no. I’m quite tame, why I wouldn’t even hurt a clacker.”

Kazuki smiled as wide as possible, revealing his teeth. Although they appeared to be normal, the monster was absolutely clear on what they could do. The way they tore into his flesh and chewed out small chunks here and there. Kazuki’s teeth were anything but normal. The monster retreated cautiously once again.

“DOnts com. I’s warning U.”

Kazuki’s blood boiled. After the humiliation, this monster put him through. After having his arm chomped off and being eaten and almost dying in his stomach. With Kazuki’s strength higher than it’s ever been, he once more got the itch to test his strength.

Kazuki wasted no more time and his games were done. Kicking off the ground, his body blurred as he charged forward. The Goat headed monster was both shocked and terrified at Kazuki’s speed but it still punched forward.

As this large hill sized fist came towards him, Kazuki could actually see its movements in this darkness and he could sense it as clear as day. To dodge it would be easy but Kazuki was curious. Purposefully slowing down his movements, His arms came up in a guarded X and he took the punch full on.

The last time Kazuki took a hit like this from the monster, his body flew far away and crashed into the side of a mountain, shattering it. Dozens of bones were broken and organs ruptured, His entire body became like a bag of meat and blood after taking such a blow. This time though it was different.

Kazuki’s feet both planted into the ground and he slid backward a couple of hundred feet until he finally came to an abrupt stop. Both of the bones in his forearms were broken and his wrist was full of chipped fragments. Besides that though, he was left unharmed.

The bones in his arms affixed themselves and fused back together in seconds and his wrist healed brand new as well. Flexing his wrist a few times, several bones cracked and snapped back into place. Kazuki inspected his body several times over.

(I’m perfectly fine. Not a single thing is out of place. For my body to have been improved by such an extent…incredible.)

Looking over toward the monster, even it was stunned. It knew its own strength full well. It could tell it was still stronger than Kazuki which was true but even with all of this strength, he couldn’t do little more than break a few bones which in turn heal almost instantly.

The monster got a bad feeling and slowly took a step back and then another and another.

(I’s has tu get aways!)

*FWAP FWAP*

Unfurling its large wings, the creature took to the skies without hesitation. Within seconds it was already miles away but what were a few miles for Kazuki.

Kazuki leaped off the ground and covered many miles in an instant, catching up to the creature. Opening his arms, he grabbed hold of the monster’s foot and held on tightly. The monster saw this and quickly tried to kick Kazuki away but Kazuki moved around far too fast.

Pulling out a blade over 50 feet in length, Kazuki slashed with all of his strength toward the monster’s heel.

*Schink*

The blade passed all the way through and the foot was separated from the body. As it started to fall down toward the ground, Kazuki waved his hand and stored it in his ring.

Blood gushed out of the wound like a waterfall and the creature screamed in pain.

*ARRHHHHHHHH!*

“That was only part of what you owe me you big bastard but don’t worry, I’m here to collect it all.”

Before the creature could retaliate, Kazuki waved the sword in the air and cut the monster’s other foot clean off.

That one was stored as well followed by another pitiful scream. The creature was now panicking and slammed into the side of a mountain with everything it had.

*BAM!*

The mountain stood zero chance against the creature’s powerful body and shattered on impact.

Kazuki as well felt a dull sensation in his mind and he felt a few bones break. This however was not enough for him to let go. His body healing almost instantly, Kazuki shook the cobwebs from his mind and sliced off more meat, this time taking a good chunk from the back of the creature’s knee.

The creature was going insane from both agony and fear. It tried to snatch Kazuki from its leg but Kazuki cut through the monster’s hand, continuing through, he sliced the monster’s hand and part of its arm vertically. Because the monster’s arm was so long, he didn’t manage to cut all the way through but the creature’s arm was now split a third of the way up its forearm.

The monster continued to smash into mountains one after the other but to no avail. Kazuki on the other hand sliced more and more of the creature’s legs.

“Leve mE Alons! It herts It herts!”

“You think this hurts. Imagine having the flesh on your body melt away. Imagine starving for months, imagine having only acid to quench your thirst. Can you even begin to comprehend the pain, the emptiness. Everyone you love and care for thinking your dead. Being played with like a fucking toy but some dumb ugly creature such as yourself. This pain, taste it, relish it. You will savory this feeling for me as I cut away at you until you are nothing more than a head.”

He could climb up to the monster’s shoulder and behead it in one swift move but Kazuki wanted more than simple revenge. Because of this monster, Kazuki became lost and nearly died several times. Because of this he was delayed by more months and was denied his overdue reunion with the people he cared for. To almost die time and time again, to not be eaten and lose hope to not see the ones you miss with every fiber of your being. This monster had it coming and more and Kazuki would make sure it suffered all the way up to its last moments.

The creature continued to slam into things as fear built upon its mind more than ever before. The creature’s thought becoming clouded as more of its body was cut off or its flesh was shredded to ribbons. With death imminent and fear beyond compare, the creature made a drastic and desperate decision. It dove downward at its greatest speed. Kazuki chuckled inward.

“You think crashing into the floor will do anything? Do you actually believe such a crash will kill me? No matter how hard we fall, I will recover. Yes, let’s do it, break the ground again, drop us in a river, it won’t matter. I’ll find you again and again and again. Each time I find you I will take something else from you and maybe when you’ve lost everything will you know how it feels.”

Kazuki couldn’t care less about crashing into the ground. He’s proved it time and again what will happen. After a broken body, he’ll simply recover and come back after the creature. This was Kazuki’s thinking process, however, he didn’t expect what would come next.

As the creature dove toward the ground at a terrifying speed, just before the two crashed together, the goat-headed monster flapped its wings and changed its trajectory. The goat-headed monster flew horizontal of the ground and unbelievably flew directly into a cave.

Kazuki couldn’t understand this.

(Why would this creature fly us into a cave. Does it really think I’ll let go just because we enter another hole…

Kazuki’s thoughts froze midway as he felt something swiftly approach from the front.

Kazuki’s eyes widened as big as they would go when both he and the creature were pushed to the ground. A heavy pressure came crashing down atop them both. A power he felt before, one that he could not forget no matter what. The air was instantly squeezed out from his lungs and his body could barely move.

(This is…AURA!)
