“WHAT LOWLY LIFE FORM DARES TAMPER WITH MY POWER!?”
The sound of this voice was so loud that it shook the entire cavern. Both Kazuki and the goat-headed monster were lifted off the ground from a resounding shockwave and were thrown back into the wall.
*BANG!*
The spot where the two impacted formed a large crack that stretched more than a thousand feet up. Fresh blood spilled from Kazuki’s eardrums and he felt dizzy. Out of the corner of his eye, he could see that the goat-headed monster as well was bleeding dark blood from its ears and was dazed as well. Like a bolt of lightning, all of his senses activated at once intensifying the pain by several degrees.
(This thing, it pulled some of its power back just so we could feel this pain. Cruel.)
Kazuki couldn’t help but tremble from head to toe.
(Such power! Just a single shout and it nearly broke my body in pieces.)
With this shout, the darkness faded and several blue crystal lights began to illuminate all around the cave. It had been such a long time since Kazuki could see anything in this darkness. He had just recently had access to his magic and could make small amounts of fire but compared to the glowing crystals lighting up this cave, it was like night and day.
Kazuki’s eyes naturally were pulled toward the being who had just shouted.
Standing in the center of the cavern, a small shadowy figure cloaked in a shroud of black mist stood before the two. Kazuki couldn’t see this being’s face but he knew there was nothing but contempt seething from it.
With both hands behind its back, the shadowy figure opened its mouth once mote to speak.
Kazuki feard another shout from this being would cause his destruction and was about to plead with the being when the goat-headed monster spoke first.
“PleeZ!”
The goat-headed monster fell down to its knees, blood still spilling out from where the lower half of its legs had been cut off, it begged in soul bending fear.
“PlEEZ SParez mE!”
The black mist-like figure tilted its head before releasing a heavy breath. The moment it released this exhale, both Kazuki and the goat-headed monster was surrounded by aura and the weight crushed them face-first into the ground. Kazuki felt his nose twist, as well as several teeth, break upon impact. He tried to surround himself with aura but an immense fear was carved into him and his will was shaken to the core. His aura refused to move.
The creature spoke again.
“DID I ASK FOR YOU TO BEG? SPEAK! WHICH OF YOU MESSED WITH MY POWER JUST NOW!? I WILL NOT ASK A THIRD TIME!”
Again this voice rocked the two, spinning their minds like a carousel cranked to full.
Kazuki knew when this creature was serious and shouted as loud as possible.
“ME!”

Kazuki couldn’t lift his head due to the immense force pressing down like a mountain on his body. Even if this were so though, he could still tell that the powerful being in front of him was staring at him with a little less contempt. With the long time that passed, Kazuki could tell that the creature held some confusion as well as curiosity. Then it started to recall something. Its pressure lightened but it didn’t relent fully and it firmly held the two in place as a thought came to it.
Its voice lowered slightly as it looked Kazuki up and down.
“You are that human creature that Glacious lost nearly a year ago.”
Kazuki couldn’t nod his head and with the air mostly gone from his lungs, he grunted a reply.
*Eurh*
*FWHOOSH*
The pressure increased and Kazuki could hear his bones creaking.
“That bastard wanted to come down here to claim you but this territory belongs to me, Zetrazz, and no other. He seemed really desperate to bring you out but I refused him. To think you survived so long in my paradise. It seems I’ve been slacking as of late to allow such an insect as you to roam my world. You’ve even become so bold as to enter my personal lair. Such an insult and you are Glacious’s property as well, I should snuff you out right here and now. That would teach that ugly lizard to stay out of my business.”
The goat-headed monster even with its face crushed into the ground and bleeding all over. It couldn’t help but smile in this situation. However, that only laster for but a brief moment as Zetrazz turned his attention to it.
“Not only one ant showed up in my lair but two.”
Zetrazz looked the goat-headed monster up and down.
“You, I’ve sensed your presence many a time. For hundreds of years, you never dared enter my lair yet today you not only entered but flew as fast as your tiny wings could take you. One defiant creature willing to come here is rare. For two to come at the exact same time…I wonder. To kill such intruders is a natural response.”
Not wanting to get killed, the goat-headed monster spoke up before it was too late.
“WAITS Pleez!”
It tried to say something else but it no longer had enough air in its lungs. Zetrazz was indeed curious as to why such weak things decided to come, so he pulled his aura back and went quiet.
The goat-headed monster took this as permission to continue and so it did.
“Gret Titan Zetrazz! mE is a simples won called Satorus. I…”
Before Satorus could say another word, Zetrazz’s dark power lifted him up and threw him into the wall.
*BAM*
“Did I ask for your name little ant? Answer my question or I will destroy you. For what reason did you enter my world?”
Satorus coughed out a large mouthful of blood. It knew it made a mistake and knelt down once more. This time it spoke with a shake in its voice but still, it complied as best as it could.
“mE Sorrez. I’s came heRe to servs U. In retuns U savs mE from Dis ugly creature. It herts mE and hertS mE. Only Strng Titan can protects mE.”
Zetrazz once again looked at Kazuki. This time with a hint of doubt.
“This small human is capable of harming a beast such as yourself?”
Zetrazz looked over the wounds of Satorus’s and looked at Kazuki who besides the recent injury he had received from Zetrazz’s own voice, seemed to be relatively fine.
“Hmm, now I’ve grown curious, let me take a peek.”
As soon as he said that, the dark energy within the entire underground world began to move all at once. At the same time, the dark eyes that were already pitch black within Zetrazz’s face somehow became even darker. They appeared as if they could destroy all light in the world. Not even a second later and the energy came to an abrupt stop.
Zetrazz nodded to himself.
“I understand now. He glared at Satorus in disgust. You…you are a cowardly little thing. You act strong and play with your food by torturing it. You did this to this human and when you were done playing you swallowed him up. Yet this human escaped you and came for revenge. Instead of facing him with all of your strength and ability, you ran like a rat.”
Satorus could see things were turning bad and tried to quickly explain.
“But but He was tu much. If I didn’t runs, I would be deds. And and he rans as well.”
“He ran when you were far more powerful than he. Even now you are still stronger than this human yet you fled when he came to face you. Not only did you flee, you entered here to come and try and beg me to take you under my wing. All so I would protect you from a mere human. You disgusting little worm. To run when you still had ways to fight back, you are not meant to hold power. You are not meant to live in this world, not with I.”
Zetrazz raised his hand and Satorus began to beg.
“NOs nOs donts kil mE! PlEe…
Before Satorus could utter another cry, Zetrazz waved his hand and his black energy descended upon the goat-headed monster. The instant this energy touched Satorus, his body exploded in every direction. Large chunks came raining down all around along with sprays of hot blood. Kazuki was still being held in place by Zetrazz magic and could only be covered from head to toe in meat and dark blood. Zetrazz on the other hand was different. The moment any blood or flesh came too close to him, his dark energy simply turned it into ash.
Kazuki swallowed hard and tried to look up at Zetrazz but the moment his eyes came into contact with Zetrazz’s, he felt his body become numb and his breath became faint.
Zetrazz slowly raised a hand toward Kazuki.
“You as well, even if you did fight with strength and power, you made the same mistake as he. You entered my lair and that requires action. Goodbye mortal.”
