In consideration of good sense, the plans of publishing the video of the 1st Place Best Bout in its entirety have been cancelled.
As compensation, the videos of the 2nd to 5th place Best Bouts will be viewable from the Top Page starting today.
Another case of censorship?
No way… Was that…?
Was it that fight?
I had a feeling it had to be the case.
That was an accident.
That was an accident, alright!
I wasn’t tying her up because I wanted to!
Speaking of the videos…
The 2nd to 5th place videos that were available to watch were all my fights.
There was the fight against Shelvie’s party, and also the fight against the Fisherman Brother’s team…
I suppose that third place fight was the fight against Yosaku’s party?
And the fourth place fight was that match where I overwhelmingly won against the other team…
The more I thought about it, the more a strange sense of shame started to crawl up my back.
Well, leaving that for later…
How were my Base Stats?
My penalty had completely gone away.
What about my HP and MP?
They were both at full.
What about my supplies?
Yep, I had a sufficient amount.
Alright, all I had to do was march towards my goal.
I wanted to do some nighttime travelling.
While I was at it, I could do some hunting.
It would be a good opportunity to evenly train all my Summoned Monsters.
I summoned Obsidian, Tigris, Loewe, Zuiun, and Nias.
There was no need for me to hurry.
I could take my time heading eastward.
I couldn’t expect the process of moving to the east to be that easy, so I was alright with having to spend the whole day moving.
My march was going well.
Or at least it was for the first hour.
Monsters like Haunted Mists, Holy Wraiths, and Skeleton Raptors?
They were no problem to deal with.
But there were more annoying monsters among them.
More precisely, the Centaurs.
In the daytime, I could compete with them in terms of mobility because I would always be riding Zangetsu.
But I didn’t have that luxury at night.
There were only three of them.
But those three…
It took me far too long to take care of all of them.
I tried my best to use Root Snare to trip them as they came charging at me.
I could feel that Root Snare was definitely getting more powerful.
Just one shot from the spell was enough to send a Centaur rolling.
Zuiun shot flashy balls of flame at the Centaurs, and replaced the MP consumed off of all the Centaurs on the ground.
Well, it was an effective strategy, so there was nothing I could say.
There weren’t many other players around, but the few that I did see looked like they were struggling too.
Well, of course. That was to be expected.
I knew that the Centaurs were actually native to the neighbouring W3 map.
They weren’t stronger than a Skeleton Raptor in terms of brute force…
But their intellect was what made them such a tough enemy to deal with.
They were really tough opponents.
Even so, I managed to safely see the sunrise after a few hours.
I kept walking for a bit, and set up an Instant Portal when I reached the front of the cave of skeletons.
While I was at it, I also replaced Zuiun with Bunraku.
While waiting for time to pass and my breakfast to get ready, I decided to spend some time going over my equipment and items.
My destination was the port town.
I also wanted to check out the other port town across the river, Salt Rock.
They were places I had only visited once before.
There was already a lot of useful information on the monsters on the shore.
All of the info came from Guren’s reports.
There were monsters on the beach, but there were apparently different monsters in the shallow water.
Although the shallow water did seem to have a lower encounter rate.
Well, that all made sense.
I guess it would be a good opportunity to train Nias and Gokame?
And on top of that, I could train 【Swim】 on the beaches too.
If that went well, I could maybe get myself the 【Dive】 skill too.
But I was a bit conflicted as to what my Summoned Monster team should be while I was travelling.
Before I realised it, breakfast was ready, so I quickly ate it and cleaned up and got ready to depart again.
I recalled Bunraku and summoned Volff.
I easily slaughtered all the Skeletons and Skeleton Dogs and made it on the other side, to the Forest Maze.
There were a lot of players around.
I paid them no mind as I made my way for the central hall.
But there was something unexpected I found there.
What? What’s going on?
Narcissus Moscato Lv.3
Flower Spirit Enemy Target Active
Battle Position: Ground Tree Attibute Enraged
Blue Fungus Lv.1
Demon Enemy Target Active
Battle Position: Ground
A Flower Spirit?
And Blue Fungus?
The Narcissus Moscato looked like a half-naked young man.
It had a quite handsome face.
Yep, no matter how I thought about it, the Flower Spirit looked like it would fit right in a boy band.
That was weird… My face was starting to get red…
Enraged? More like excited…
But if anyone were to ask, I would probably blame it on some strange alcohol in the air.
There were two Blue Fungi
They didn’t look like anything special. I could tell why they had that name in a moment.
They were walking blue mushrooms.
It was my first time encountering such an enemy, so I had to give it my all.
I managed to take care of them somehow.
I definitely thought they were strong enemies.
But still definitely weaker than the Deva Kings.
There was something else about them weighing on my mind though.
That Narcissus Moscato…
I didn’t ever want to have to fight it ever again.
The damage it did on me was mental more than anything else.
That Flower Spirit made some strange rough noises as I was beating it with a blush on my face.
Why did it have to force me into that kind of perverted play?
I made a promise to myself to fight it from a distance if I ever had to fight it again.
To be honest, the shivers running down my back didn’t feel that pleasant.
It was a terrifying experience, in many ways.
The Blue Fungi were taken care of by my Summoned Monsters with relative ease.
But I couldn’t get careless with those monsters.
They apparently had the ability to inflict some kind of abnormal status condition too.
After the fight, I checked to find an AGI penalty to Obsidian.
But I didn’t mind it too much, a simple casting of Dispel Magic was enough to remove it.
Even Nias made it out of the fight completely unscathed.
She was fighting with a spear, after all. It was a very appropriate weapon for the occasion.
The Flower Spirit and the monsters both did not leave anything behind.
Was that some kind of event-related fight?
There was no way for me to tell what was going on.
Until I left the Forest Maze, I never encountered another Flower Spirit.
All the monsters I ran into were normal Fungi and Branch Golems.
Some good news came from the Forest Maze too.
It happened right as I was burning up a swarm of seven Branch Golems. An info screen appeared.
《Job Level Up!》 》
《You may learn the following Support Skill: 【Weather Prediction】》
《Summoned Monster 『Loewe』 Level Up!》 》
《Please add 1 point to a desired stat.》
My plan of strengthening my Summoned Monsters was proceeding nicely.
The stat that went up with the level-up was AGI.
I put another point into DEX.
Loewe Lion Lv5→Lv6 (↑1)
DEX 11 (↑1)
AGI 15 (↑1)
Bite Threaten Sense Danger Night Vision Hide
And after that, there came another info screen.
《Summoned Monster 『Nias』 Level Up! 》
《Please add 1 point to a desired stat.》
She was growing very steadily.
That was one way to describe it.
The stat that went up with Nias’s level-up was INT.
I put another point into STR.
Nias Mermaid Lv2→Lv3 (↑1)
STR 18 (↑ 1)
INT 6 (↑1)
