Unit 6 switched to maximum acceleration. Within moments, it had locked onto the Antique Silhouette: A Cassiel, a mid-tier Angel-series unit.

「Impossible! To move at that speed in this corridor—」

The Hemitheos could not finish his words. Unit 6’s shoulder-charge slammed the Cassiel into the wall.

The sealed sector’s passageway was built to withstand enormous strain. Cassiel’s torso crumpled under the combined force of Unit 6’s charge and the wall’s resistance.

Fran wasted no time—she drew her Arc blade and drove it through the collapsed abdomen, piercing all the way to the reactor core
