CHAPTER 15: DRAGON’S POWER TEST PART 2

「W-Wait, wait, wait! Wait just a moment here! Umm…… Could it be…… Could it be that you…… Are you here to pick fights with Adventurers passing by so that you can get stronger from that?」

How can someone give an answer like that while maintaining such a straight face!?

This girl, she’s so haphazard and seems like someone who does things at her own pace all the time…… In a way, she’s just like Kanade.

If we only take the looks into account, Tanya is a pretty young girl, actually looking like someone who could easily be mistaken for a noble or someone like that.

This actually explains why the Adventurers returning from the bridge looked so depressed and avoided talking about that subject, no matter what.

「But! You are about as awesome as a top-notch adventurer, right, Rein!?　I think you’re a talented Adventurer, and an amazing and extraordinary Beast Tamer at that! Trust me on that, nya♪!」

Even Kanade agreed with Tanya on that subject.

I can’t help it but feel that my escape route is becoming more and more blocked by the second here.

「Come on, you two! Fight me! Right here and right now! I don’t even mind if it’s two against one!」

What do we do here?

Tanya seems to be really motivated to do this.

Not to mention that she’s already in the battle position.

「Let’s just give it up, Rein. I think we’re going to have to fight her, no matter what. At least I can’t see the other way out of this.」

「But this…… I mean, our opponent is a Dragon Tribe…… and a Red one at that! Aren’t they supposed to be the strongest creatures in the entire world!?」

How did we actually end up picking a fight with a member of the Dragon Tribe?

There’s no point in regretting this situation or despairing over it.
