「But I do believe that if it is you, Rein-sama and your Party, those monsters should hardly ever pose a threat to you, wouldn’t you agree? Fufufu…… Well then, I guess I will be heading back home for the time being.」

Iris then turned on her heel.

「Wait!」

I called out to her back.

「Oh my? Is there anything else that you wanted with me, Rein-sama?」

「You did promise to answer my question, remember?」

「Oh, dear me! So you DID remember about that part! And here I was hoping that you might have actually forgotten all about it and made my quiet escape amidst all the hustle and bustle before you would remember……」

「Hey now!」

「Fufufu, of course, I am joking. While I must admit that I DO have a nasty habit of breaking my promises from time to time, if it’s someone I like, like you, Rein-sama, I am doing my very best to keep those promises.」

「It certainly sounds nice, but those are just words. Now let’s see some action.」

Iris giggled slightly, and then laughed.

She just seemed to simply enjoy talking to me for the time being.

When I look at her this way, she really does look like a normal girl, but……

But Iris destroyed a single village single handedly…… And not only that, she also went after the survivors.

But why would she ever want to do that?

I wanted to know what was at the source of Iris’ actions.

Iris showed a complicated expression on her face.

Iris bowed to us politely once again, and……

Then, in the briefest moment that took us all to blink a single time, her figure completely disappeared from our sight.

She must have used the same kind of power that the other Iris had used to bring herself back to her original world.

We have managed to overcome the greatest hurdle for the time being, but the small monsters were still here and on the rampage.

They both nodded their heads together.

「Alright, then. We are going to take care of the rest of the monsters for the time being! Let’s go!」

With Kanade energetically pumping her fist up and Nina with her tail perking up, we went to support Axe and the others in their struggle.

Since then, we all took care of the monsters and were able to sweep them away safely and without any incident.

However, that doesn’t mean there was zero damage done.

The Adventurer who was serving as an entrance guard was injured when he was blown away by Iris first, and then……

Everyone else had a lot of minor injuries and such.
