CHAPTER 167: THE VESSEL PART 1

「Oh my, it seems I have made you witness something rather sappy and I took your time because of it.」

Aru-sanl turned her head away from Sora and Luna to look at us, as if remembering that we were also here at the moment.

The way she looked really satisfied right now, it made me think that she was really happy that she was able to finally meet her beloved daughters after a long time of being away from home.

「Oh, no, not at all. It was also good for Sora and Luna, so please don’t worry about it.」

「Fumuh.」

Aru-san said while looking at me really intently.

After hearing our story in its entirety, Aru-san made a rather difficult face.

At the time, the Spirit Tribe, my humble self included, were in the middle of parting ways with humans for good, but even so, we decided that we couldn’t simply leave that girl alone and allow her to do whatever it was that she wanted to do. That is why the Spirit Tribe joined forces with the other Ultimate Species and ultimately sealed that girl away.」

「By the way, why did you decide that sealing her away would be the best option here? I gather that the option of just defeating and killing her was also on the table at the time for you to consider, right?」

She was someone who could think about what happened to Iris as if it was something that happened to her, emphasize with her and even sympathize with her to a certain extent.

So, if Aru-san was truly that kind of person, maybe it would mean that she would be able to help us out.

So I asked her that, hoping that she would be able to aid us in our current struggle against Iris.

「Aru-san, will you help us in sealing Iris once more?」
