Axe still did not say anything, but instead he charged forward with his sword drawn in his hand and ready to attack.

Axe was moving more than twice as fast as I expected him to be able to move.
Seeing him going so fast, I decided to completely abandon the idea of countering his charge and I would instead focus entirely on dodging it.
