87 – Greetings 4
「V-Vivi…」
When our eyes met, Vivi teared up. 「H-Hero Rain! Do something about these guys! When I entered through the gate, I was suddenly body searched and was detained for some reason even though I didn’t have anything suspicious on me!」
「By the way, the body search was done by a female security guard.」 the female Ogre security guard, who’s holding Vivi, added.
「Why even go that far?! If this weren’t Rain Manor, I would have escaped by force by now!」
yelled Vivi from deep within her soul, reverberating across the entrance hall.
「Good work. You may leave now.」 At Madge’s command, the two guards release Vivi, bow their heads slightly, and return outside.
「Florence…Madge… Which of you is responsible?」
Like a revenant seeking revenge, Vivi walked slowly forward while staring at the two of them. If they were ordinary people, the pressure from that stare would’ve been enough to make them divulge any and all information without even being asked.
「I am.」 Madge raised her hand, confessing that it was her orders.
「…I’ll ask you just once… Why?」
「I wished to test how well the guards could follow my orders. So, I set you as a hypothetical threat. I confirmed how they chose to deal with intruders.」
「I…! Am ASKING…! WHY you set your close friend…! WITHOUT her permission…! As a TARGET for a security test!」 Vivi was livid.
Madge was silent.
「Madge…!! Say something!」
「…Vivi. You called me your close friend… I’m embarrassed…」 Madge looked away while scratching her cheek.
「Now is not the time for that!!!」
Vivi flipped her lid.
「I sympathize with Madge’s sentiments. After all, you did try to take home the spoon that was in Sir Rain’s mouth, yes?」 said Florence.
I immediately remembered that. That time when we were eating shaved ice – that definitely happened.

I couldn’t really hear what Madge said because Vivi suddenly shouted. Florence smiled triumphantly. Looks like the discussion came to an end. If Vivi’s fine with it, there’s nothing for me to say.

And so, all of the Seven have arrived. Most of the invited guests were here.
「My, my! Oh my sinful little Hero, to hold a Day of Love party with so many beautiful women invited to your abode, how naughty.」
Before I knew it, there was a beautiful woman with purple hair next to me, bending at the waist with one hand on her knee and the other poking my cheek. She is the tallest and most well-endowed woman among all that I am acquainted with. She dresses in a suggestive outfit, and her expression never stays the same. She is a mysterious woman whose words could be both her true feelings or all an act. A talented woman who truly leads the Demon King Army’s magical division, she is most likely the only individual – apart from the Sage – to come up with All Elemental magic. It is the country’s strongest in terms of pure magical prowess, the Bewitching Witch Mage.
「Oh my?」
The finger that Mage was using to poke my cheek could no longer touch me, as if blocked by something invisible. The finger that I felt mere moments ago could no longer reach me.
「Is this your doing, Louty? Your delicate Barrier Magic is as surprising as ever. If you were just a little more inclined towards fighting, you would do wonders on the battlefield.」
「Fufu, Oh Lady Mage~ Nurturing future generations is also an important job~」
「Louty’s students are honor students with a solid foundation, but they lack the drive to win. I believe they should have the spirit of competing with one another like rivals while being friends.」
「I believe magic to be a power to protect the innocent.」

「…This mana signature… Is that the holy sword?」 Pink hair, child-like physique, and huge breasts. It is the world’s strongest magic user, the Sage Alchemy.
「The insane, self-proclaimed older sister, the Saint Marie!」
「What is the meaning of this, Rainy? There are…there are even more women?!」 Fluffy, long blonde hair, beauty that would make anyone turn their heads, and huge breasts. Said to be able to cure anyone so long as they aren’t dead, it is the Saint Marie.

The three female members that make up half of Humanity’s Six Saviors are gathered here.
「You guys came, huh? Sorry, I wanted to invite you, but I didn’t have the time. I only knew about this special day two days ago, myself.」

All three of them reacted in their own way, but they will be taking part in the party. By the way, the War God was too busy to attend, and Marie decided to leave the Swordmaster behind.
「My! Lady Sage! Is that you, Lady Sage?」 Mage, known as the Bewitching Witch, ran up to Alchemy, who she lost to in a battle of the mages.
「…You.」
「It is an honor to meet you once again. If it pleases you, I would love to discuss magic with you…」
「Not interested.」
「Don’t say that~」
Alchemy looked bothered to be pestered by Mage, but Louto and Mika looked satisfied; maybe because Mage was away from me. Anyway, with them here, everyone has arrived.
I turned to Florence. She looks at me.
「Everyone, it is my honor to start this with you all here today. Tis but a modest offering, but I, Florence, made all the arrangements such as food for the sake of Sir Rain, so please, enjoy.」
And so, the party began.
