Chapter 110

Alexander had bared her sharp fangs at me and exploded in a furious roar. As I parried away Alexander’s attack, my reliable elder sister, Leviathan, quickly bound Alexander’s arms behind her back to restrict her movement.

Just like what had occurred in the embarrassing incident moments ago, Alexander had once again forgotten to restrain her powers. Right now, her presence in this earthly world alone was powerful enough to destroy many realms, or even spark the opposite to occur. If Leviathan had not pinioned Alexander and countered this overwhelming influence Alexander had on the world, I would have been forced to deal with Alexander.

Selina, Dramina, and Ryoukichi probably only saw Alexander roaring in panic. However, the truth was that the fates of countless worlds rested on this incident.

「B-Big Sis Levia, l-let go of me! B-Big Bro is getting married!」

Alexander clenches her teeth and struggled violently against her elder sister, who had pinned her down. As for Leviathan, she was astonished by my marriage engagement, but she did not let go of Alexander’s arms.

Ryoukichi had frequently told me that she and Liu Yuu yearned to be married to me. From their current reactions, those statements had been true.

「This was just decided slightly over a month ago. I thought this was a good opportunity to share the news, but the arrival of you folks interrupted me.」

「I see. Sorry for the disruption. However, I never imagined that you’d fall in love with women, and two ladies at that. I’m unsure about the customs and laws of this country. Will this be a problem? As far as you guys are concerned, there shouldn’t be any issues in your feelings for each other.」

「Ah, I’ve checked and there isn’t a problem. Though, that’s just because there aren’t any existing laws concerning the marriage between a Lamia, a vampire, and a human in this country. Lamias and vampires are few and far between. Moreover, they have never aspired to belong to the state ever since the country’s founding. Hence, it’s natural that there aren’t any laws. Yet, there are folks bearing unfathomable thoughts about Lamia and vampires. In such instances, both parties remain protected by the country’s laws and action will be taken against criminals.」

「Oh? But there’s no way you don’t bear intentions of your own. You’ve declared that you’d live like a human, so are you planning on doing so properly? With the power of the Ancient-Celestial Dragon and the connection to the gods, you’ll be capable of anything. However, if you want to put yourself in fetters and bear the burden of labor, do as you please. Leviathan regarded me with eyes of utter solemnity. If I went back on my promises, my elder sister would definitely give her all to punish this useless younger brother of hers. Even imagining such a situation was terrifying. However, I would be the one penalizing myself most harshly if I ever ended up in such a plight.

「Yeah, please do that. With your horrifying punishment looming, I’m even more motivated.」

Leviathan sensed the sincerity in my statement, just like how I had been certain of her utter seriousness. Hence, I managed to gain her approval for now as she nodded at me.

Marriage was not a common topic of discussion in the realm of dragons, explaining Leviathan’s response thus far. The problem was Alexander, who was throwing a fit beyond anyone’s imagination. Even now, Alexander remained trapped in Leviathan’s arms as she peered at Selina and me with tearful eyes of dismay.

「Nooooo!!! Big Sis Levia, why are you?! Letting Big Bro get married?! So easily?!」

「Is that so? I’m sure our fellow dragons will be surprised, but they will congratulate Dragon too. Though, I understand why it’s hard for you to accept this. You said that you were delighted to finally be able to call Dragon your big bro, yet you’re faced with this shocking marriage news. Alexander, well, how should I put this? I want to support you and Dragon. For now, stop letting your emotions and powers rampage. Whatever you do, calm down first.」

Leviathan seemed to finally be exhausted by pinioning Alexander. Even her face was revealing an expression of frustration as she muttered in Alexander’s ear in a bid to convince Alexander to calm down.

Alexander, who was the most hot-tempered among us siblings, slowly started to calm her agitation as Leviathan berated her. Unable to lift her head, her breathing slowly soothed.

Alexander, my dear sister, sounded like she was speaking with her nose. There was probably a more feminine way of speaking and expressing by knitting her brows, but such dignified behavior seemed beyond her.

Ryoukichi and the rest did not seem particularly dismayed or disillusioned. However, it would certainly be tough for them to view the seven primordial dragons with the same reverence as before after witnessing such a sight.

「It’s a great relief to me that you’re saying this. Pardon me for saying this, but you girls sure have strange tastes. I only assumed you were Dragon’s familiars, and marriage never occurred to me. After Dragon reincarnated as a human, his beliefs have changed quite a bit」

「Mr. Dran has always taken great care of us. Um, Miss Leviathan, does that mean you approve of our engagement to Mr. Dran?」
