From Bern village to the nearest edge of the Ente forest, there has been a long and simple path that has been traversed by the people of the remote region, with width enough for two horse-drawn carriages to pass.

Ente forest spreads its green territory covering from the northeast to the east of the northern remote region, it is a large unexplored forest area that extends its roots to neighboring countries across the border.

As we walked straight into Ente forest, our feet are covered in tightly growing green, yellow, red, and the various colors covered in all kinds of grass, and the brown ground couldn’t be seen any more than a cat’s forehead.

There are places where the roots of thick trees that have grown are intertwined with each other and become like a carpet, and there are places that form larger lumps than my body, and walking became increasingly difficult.

A demon soldier refers to a lifeless magical creature created by evil gods and demons that lives in the demon world.

Although it has no ego, it is instilled with ruthless, ferocious, and atrocious aggression towards life, and performing cruel deeds is its M.O.

The low-class demon soldiers Zelts who were rapidly approaching before our eyes noticed our presence, and switched their target of malice towards us and started approaching.

After confirming the two Zelts turned to a handful of dust, I turned my eyes toward Christina and heard the chant of Selina at the back.

「Jaraam!」

She already slashed a single Zelt from the top of the head to the bottom, and beheaded a Zelt that tried to escape from the side, now behind Christina a Zelt that was rushing to attack was caught by the large jaw of a phantom serpent that emerged from Selina’s magic.

The magical snake’s fangs thrust deeply into the neck of the Zelt, the cervical vertebrae of the demon soldier was completely chewed on by the phantom snake, shortly after losing magic power to maintain its existence it turned into dust.

What Selina said was right.
