Chapter 93

Back when Dran had wanted his future wife to be Dramina or Selina, there had been a bit of a fuss going on in the lands of the God of War, Aldeath.

The territory and world established by Aldeath stood in the very center of all and every battlefield, stretching from east to west. An extremely large building that could barely be called a castle was built within that land.

It was a castle which drew upon the designs of many different eras and civilizations, so it looked very irregular and patchwork-like, but this is due to the fact that Aldeath always draws inspiration from the ideas of Einhelial and the other heroes that are invited to the castle.

Crowned as it is with the name of its world, Valhalla, the building was known as Valhalla Castle. A piercing voice resonated throughout its corners, making any who heard that voice reflexively straighten their backs in attention.

「Brother, Brother Aldeath, where are you!」

The vast corridors of Valhalla were large and wide enough for even a giant as big as a mountain to walk comfortably in. The one currently walking down those corridors was a goddess who bore golden, sunrise colored hair, cut just to the level of the nape of her neck.

Her vivacious thighs, her shoulders and her armpits were all boldly exposed, because she was wearing an extremely short skirt and shirt; both of which were made of a pure white cloth that had not a single stain. Above those clothes, she also had on a piece of leather armor which covered from her chest down to her abdomen.

From the way her limbs were tight and toned, it seemed that rather than as a woman, she was more specialized in the functions of a warrior. But from the gleaming radiance of her exposed skin, the beauty she held from being in the youthful age of her 20’s, and the lines of her narrow waist and round butt, it was easy and clear to see that she was a first-rate, beautiful woman.

This goddess who was calling Aldeath her older brother, was undoubtedly his younger sister, Amias.

「Good grief, just where in the world are you, Brother…」

No matter how much she called for him, Aldeath did not reply. Each time, Amias would stop her feet and keep sighing in exasperation.

From her current appearance, it seemed that Aldeath has had this habit of suddenly wandering off somewhere for a long time.

This was a bad habit of Aldeath’s, to always do as he pleased without thinking about the trouble he was causing for her and other people. The lower half of his body was made up of twenty tentacles, which dripped wetly shining mucus everywhere. His upper half was the body of a burly human. He was a strange-looking existence, but he had been one of the Einhelial heroes, raised to the status of subordinate god three thousand years ago.

His name was Belgem.

「Amias-sama」

「Hm, Belgem, do you know where my brother is?」

「Yes. Earlier today, Aldeath-sama was bathing, but he suddenly cut his bath short, took up his spear, and left to head to earth」

Surprised, Amias raised her eyebrows, and then set her stern gaze upon Belgem, who was still kneeling at her feet.

It was because he had become a god, that he should be able to endure her glare, but for the living creatures on earth, even if they were Dragonkin, her gaze was one that could make anyone faint in fear.

「What, to earth? But why would Brother go to earth? It’s true that we are now able to visit the earth, but it is inevitable that our powers would end up being restrained to the point of being on the same level as the species on earth.

For what reason would Brother still go to earth, despite becoming so weakened…… It can’t be! Belgem, did my brother hear about Lord Dragon!?」

Upon hearing the words of Amias, who could not hide her impatience, Belgem lowered his face, as if he himself had been the one to blunder. His voice was strained as he answered.

「Yes, it is as you fear, I believe that Aldeath-sama has found out that Dragon-sama was reincarnated. It is all because I was insufficient in my virtues, I am responsible for this. I am truly sorry」
