Chapter 498: Meyrfolk’s Food

I still haven’t figured out the mystery behind the green stones, but at least I’ve secured the warehouse. I take out some of the Meyr wheat I got earlier from 【Storage】, but left some inside. Gotta keep enough for at least one shipload, just in case ー

『Huh? What’s up? Are you gonna use this warehouse after all? 』
As I’m pulling out bags of wheat, I notice the Meyrfolks bringing in more wheat bags of their own into this warehouse.

They’re all carrying the bags on their shoulders, and they’re moving in sync like clockwork as they stack the bags neatly in the back. As usual, there’s five people per group, and everyone’s moving in that same smooth, writhing motion.

I simply dumped mine right in the middle of the warehouse, but it looks like I should’ve put them off to the side instead.

『Nope, these are for the stones you gave us
