Nanana’s Buried Treasure Volume 6 Chapter 2.3

This is where the 《wise king’s crown》 comes into play. By wearing this, the countless small Saki’s inside of Saki’s head can continue to give instructions to each of the black soldiers at the same time. Instructions based on even higher levels of concentration allow the black soldiers to perform more detailed work over a wider area than before.

By using a combination of these two Nanana collections, Saki was able to control the black soldiers deployed all over Nanaejima during the recent Tanabata Festival. She was able to ask for the password from the challengers all over the island while she was in the hideout in 《Marumelo》

「In other words, if I have these two I’m invincible! 」

「You can do anything! 」

「This is why things will go well today! 」

「….although I’m worried…」

「That’s right…」

As you can see, the more multiple consciousnesses you have, the bigger variety of answers you will get about what you are currently worried about when wearing the 《wise king’s crown》. Sometimes she thought it was too noisy, but as Saki spent months hiding at 《Marumelo》 by herself, the little versions of herself in her head were the only people she could talk to.

「I  look so gloomy. 」

「I should make more friends. 」

Ignoring these all too honest voices, the tram carrying Saki ran towards the plaza where they would meet.

As Saki reminisced about the events leading up to this point, she once again looked at the door of the rear vehicle where a large number of the 《game》 participants were boarding… and clenched her fist.

「It’s ok, I’m sure it’ll work out. 」

「That’s right, these two Nanana collections are perfect for me. 」

「Besides, 《God》 has given me many sure fire strategies. If I use them I’m sure to win. 」

「Surely they can carry out the command. 」

「Then you can be with Anego and Tetsu again. 」

「That’s why we need to work hard. 」

As she was having these thoughts the first participant came to the vehicle where Saki was.

「Please show me the Nanana collection you brought. 」

Following the orders of Saki (AKA M) who has several Goro Kuma behind her, the first participant presents their Nanana collection.

Saki carefully looked at it and took out a red leather notebook from her pocket. The notebook began to flip through its own pages in Saki’s palm, until it stopped after reaching a certain page. Saki compares the page of the notebook with the Nanana collection in front of her.

「Hmmm… it’s good. Please move to the first car. 」

As Saki says this and nods, one of the little Sakis in her had gives the instructions to one of the Gorokuma to signal ‘come this way’. Guided by the Gorokuma, who followed its instructions, the first participants moved to the first vehicle.

「OK, next person please…」

Another little Saki in her head gives instructions to Gorokuma who is in the car behind her. The next participant guided to the car. They were asked for their Nanana collection and it was checked with the red leather notebook.

「….I see. Please return to the vehicle behind you and wait. 」

In this manor Saki completes the check for Nanana collections. After about 10 people had gone through she was more efficient and moved quicker. As she was about to finish the checks her body shook. It’s because what comes next is the Ikusaba.

With the various thoughts about Ikusaba from the little Sakis in her head as well as Saki herself were in an uproar.

「I…I have to be careful. 」

「It’s scary! 」

「Jeez, calm down now. I’m the masked girl M not Saki Yoshino! So there is no problem if I pretend I’m someone else. 」

「That’s right! Besides, there are a lot of Gorokuma here, so there’s nothing to be afraid of. 」

「This is crazy! You need to be strong to pay back what you owe from before. 」

Due to there being so many personalities, the many opinions fly around in her head in an instant. There were many strong opinions, but all of them were based on Saki’s personalities. Each one of them were shouting while scared.

「S….so please present your N…Nanana collection. 」

Saki tries her best to remain calm, but is clearly scared. Ikusaba holds out his index finger with a skull ring on it, pointing down at his feet.

Saki follows the finger with her eyes to his boots, then back to her red leather notebook which began flipping itself.

「Hm? Ah, I see. …Yes, it’s good. Please move to the first car. 」

Ikusaba was watching Saki closely, catching every detail, and grinned.

「I’m glad you are ok. 」

As soon as he grinned, Saki immediately took five steps backwards and was surrounded by the kumagoro she had summoned, presenting an ironclad defense.

While keeping an eye on Saki, Ikusaba says ‘See you later’ and moved to the car in front of her.

「W..well I never thought that this perfect disguise would be seen through. He is a very scary man after all! 」

Despite her caution, Saki continues with the examinations. She continues the Nanana collections of the various participants.

There was a short and serious looking woman, a tall delinquent looking blonde, a woman with bangs so long that you can’t make out her facial expressions, and a foreigner who seemed light-hearted.

「OOOH! 」

「What happened? Please do the examination! 」

After that, there were many things that happened, such as falling in love with a very beautiful lady with pretty black hair who presented a gold base, but she passed the examination without any problems.

However, near the end it stopped again.

It’s because the next person was Yuiga Isshin.

The person Saki stabbed about a month ago.

「I’m glad you’re safe. 」

「I’m really sorry. 」

Seeing him made all the little Sakis in her mind feel sorry.

Among the various apologies as a thought, 「If this guy didn’t recognize my true identity, this wouldn’t have happened. 」

These voices of resentment were mixed in.

Yun was surprised by this.

Those kinds of opinions usually never come to the surface. Feelings that are negative are usually not said out loud.

Because she has so many personalities thoughts mixed in means that the repressed opinions will often come up.

Human thinking might be similar to majority rule. The righteous thoughts are mixed with selfish and cruel thoughts, but these are instantly rejected and disappear even before the person is aware of them. Like that these are thoughts that would never occur to Saki normally.

But those are definitely Saki’s feelings.

There is still a sense of remorse for the pain she had caused.

Saki feels a grudge against the man in front of her.

「Saki Yoshino, aren’t you a leprechaun? 」

Why did you ask that? If you didn’t ask me that…

I could still be with all of you.

As soon as she became aware of this the voice in her feelings start to skew.

「I’m sorry. 」

「Or rather, it pisses me off. 」

「I hate this guy. 」

「I can’t forgive him. 」

The feeling of remorse that was in a majority of the Sakis minds changed to mostly voices of anger.

She was so angry she wanted to grab him.

「But now isn’t the time to do anything. 」

The calm opinions that were interspersed among the angry voices in Saki’s mind are what kept her from doing anything impulsive.

As the organizer, Saki also had rules that she had to follow. Because of that, in order to keep the 《game》 going she could not do anything to any of the participants who hadn’t broken any rules.

Also, if I am able to fulfill 《God》’s command this time, I will have a new contract with him and there will be no need for me to stab the man in front of me.

With all of that in mind, Saki checks Isshin’s Nanana collection in a professional manner.

「It’s good. Please go to the first car. 」

Isshin passes by Saki after being told to proceed.

「I’m sorry about all this. 」

「! 」

She couldn’t help but turn around when hearing Isshin’s words. She wants to throw all sorts of things at his back.

「If you think so, then don’t say that. 」

「I can never forgive you! 」

「But I stabbed him. 」

「I did something I shouldn’t have done. 」

「But it’s not what I wanted to do. My body moved on its own. 」

The little Sakis are shouting these and other various things in her head.

All of them are correct, it’s all true, and none of them are wrong either.

「…tsk. 」

In the end Saki could only stare at Isshin’s back.

She was so frustrated that she had to wipe away a few tears and take a deep breath.

「I’m totally fine. 」

Somehow Saki changed her mind and a small Saki in her head called for the next participant.

「Hey. 」

The person who came over with a big smile was Saki’s sempai from school, Juugo Yama.
