Nanana’s Buried Treasure Volume 7 Prologue

The story so far:

The game organized by the Leprechauns has begun.

The grand prize is the rare Nanana collection 《Nanana’s sword.》

There are many participants gathered, each of whom hold a Nanana collection which qualified them to participate. Among them are Juugo Yama, Tensai Ikkyu, and Isshin Yuiga.

Appearing at the meeting place in the plaza at midnight, off the tram steps the organizer of this 《game》, M.

Her true identity is Saki Yoshino, who had stabbed Isshin and gone missing.

Under M’s instructions, participants boarding the tram are confronted with the rule: should M win the 《game》, all of the participants’ Nanana collections will be confiscated.

The venue for this 《game》is the yet-to-open theme park 《Sevens Land.》

Participants entering Sevens Land are promptly notified that the first stage will soon commence.

The first stage is a battle royale where participants compete to win coins from each other within the battle areas set up in the park.

To pass the first stage the participants must increase their coins from five to a 10 within a one-hour time limit.

M, who conducted a victory strategy seminar before the start of the first stage, has a quick start. Competitors wielding their own Nanana collections as they see fit begin to rise through the ranks.

As a result, nine people cleared the first stage—–

Juugo Yama, who, with the power of 《Nanana’s Sword,》aims to reveal the killer of Nanana by observing the past of the earthbound spirit, Nanana Ryugajou.

Tensai Ikkyu, the self-proclaimed detective who joined the game solely because she wants to engage in a fierce battle with Kagetora.

Tsujimi Tetsunoshin of the Three Skulls joined to retrieve Saki Yoshino, aka Yun, and is currently allied with Juugo.

Yukihime Fugi, a member of the 《Matsuri》, a clan of ethical thieves, and Kagetora’s childhood friend.

Hiiyo Ikusaba, a former member of the Adventure Club who has previously engaged in fierce battles with the third generation of the Adventure Club, which Juugo is in now.

Asumi Nishi, student council president of Seventh High School, who started a community aiming to collect the Nanana collection and strives to win for publicity reasons.

A community member, whose real identity is Ishbal Kornahl, the next head of a European grave-robbing family. Currently using the alias Neidhardt D. Polnareff.

A mystery lady Kakyo Uzuki decided, without battling anyone at all in the first stage, proceeded to the second stage.

And the last one, Saki Yoshino, who acts under the orders of the mysterious being 《god》 who controls the Leprechauns, operates alone as the ruthless organizer M, revealing her situation to no one and fighting in solitude.

After the First Stage, M, declaring that she is the rules, declares unexpectedly that 「The coins attained during the first stage will carry over to the Second Stage」, and further announces that a bonus will be given to the top finishers of the first stage. Amid rising discontent amongst the remaining participants at this clearly fixed game, Hiiyo Ikusaba reads M’s intentions and outsmarts her, taking the lead.

Meanwhile, outside Sevens Land where the 《game》 takes place, the maneuvers of two forces are underway.

Shiki Maboro, who leads the Nanaejima General Security’s Fourth Special Force, and Sansa Kurosu, who controls Three Skulls within the Tsukiyomi-gai area of Nanaejima.

The two GREAT7 members clash, with Shiki Maboro defeating Sansa Kurosu. However, the Fourth Special Forces suffer significant damages from the covert operations of Sansa’s subordinates, with the team leader, Kyoumi Honami, being kidnapped.

The battle between Sansa, scheming to intrude into the 《game》, and Shiki, determined to stop her, reaches a deadlock.

While the squabbles outside continue, M, inside the castle at the center of Sevens Land, declares the start of the second stage. M then speaks to Kagetora and the others.

「We will soon begin the second stage, but before that, there is something I must tell you. You may continue to utilize the Nanana collections in the Second Stage. However, if it becomes known that you used the abilities of the Nanana collection, you will be disqualified, and the Nanana collection will be immediately confiscated.」

Immediately after M explains the rules of the second stage, the door to the room where nine people are seated at a round table opens, and the story resumes from there.
