Character Introduction

Almus Aris Rosais, 18 years old.

The protagonist of this story, who acquired even more surnames thanks to his marriage to Tetra and Julia. He is recently worried about the side effects of his [Blessing of The Emperor].

He is 165 cm tall, which is considered quite tall in the Adernian peninsula. His hair is gray.

Has a blessing called the [Blessing of The Emperor] that increases his physical abilities in proportion to the number of people who recognize him as a leader (with limits). The physical and magical abilities of those who swear absolute loyalty to him also increase. It also has the disadvantage of the holder’s thoughts being automatically modified to suit the image his followers have of him in certain circumstances. In case the holder loses most of his followers, accepts defeat, and becomes unsuitable to be the ‘Emperor’, the blessing can reverse. When reversed, the body of the holder loses the effects of the blessing and receives a burden proportional to the number of people who recognize him as their leader.

Wives

Tetra Aris, 16 years old

First heroine. Self-proclaimed world’s first mage. Although Tetra was the first to create the formulas used in magecraft, the spells to create flames or wind are nothing new.

She is 140 cm tall, shorter than the average Adernian woman. Her hair is blue. Her chest size is light cruiser class.

Julia Rosais, 18 years old

Second heroine. Daughter of King Rosais. Her character was established before Tetra’s, but… it’s complicated how things turned out (after Volume 2, she has regained her dignity as a heroine). She has quite a large chest and buttocks.

She is 146 cm tall, slightly taller than the average Adernian woman. Her hair is lavender-colored. Her chest size is heavy cruiser class.

She has multiple blessings:
[Blessing of Insight] Apparently, she can understand the blessings of others. Since she doesn’t know their names, Julia needs to name them herself.

[Blessing of Clairvoyance] She can see very far as if her eyes were telescopes. However, if there are obstacles in the way, she obviously can’t see beyond them. Therefore, it should be impossible to see Almus’s figure deep in the forest with just this blessing alone but…

Subordinates

Ron, 17 years old

One of Almus’s fans. He is pretty skilled with a sword. He shows leadership qualities but has some foolish tendencies which occasionally go in strange directions. Recently, he received some territory. It seems he just got engaged to Soyon.

His height is 160 cm, average for an Adernian man. His hair color is black.

Roswald, 17 years old

A spear user. Excluding Almus, he’s currently the strongest among Almus’s subordinates. While he’s usually foolish, he occasionally shows intelligence. Apparently, he just got engaged to Lia.

His height is 167 cm; what a rude fellow, to grow taller than his master… His hair color is brown.

Gram, 16 years old

His name doesn’t have any relation to the unit of weight measurement, it’s just a coincidence. He’s an archer who can perform acrobatics like shooting a longbow while riding a horse. He has a calm and composed personality. It seems he’s currently being wrapped around Lulu’s finger.

His height is 175 cm, considered very tall for an Adernian man. His hair color is black.

Soyon, 17 years old

A very good kid. Although usually intelligent, sometimes, probably influenced by Ron, her brain goes on vacation. She loves animals and is skilled in possession. She just got engaged to Ron.

Her height is 145 cm, average for an Adernian woman. Her hair color is brown. Her chest size is light cruiser class.

Lulu, 16 years old

Has a slightly bad personality. It’s unclear whether this is the cause, but she’s skilled in curses. Apparently, she just got engaged to Gram.

Her height is 138 cm, secretly competing with Tetra. Her hair color is gray. Her chest size is destroyer class.

Lia, 16 years old

A slave of Germanis origin, female. She was introduced to teach the kids how to ride and care for the horses, but now she has nothing to do. She has been recently freed from slavery, losing her only identity, that’s why her presence has faded a little, the author definitely didn’t forget about her, surely, maybe… She has made some progress in learning the Adernian language. Recently got engaged to Roswald. Vilgar and the rest of Roswald’s subordinates call her Nee-san, much to her displeasure.

Her height is 160 cm, average for a Germanis woman. Her hair color is brown with a hint of red. Her chest size is light cruiser class.

Iarl, mid-twenties

The new addition to Almus’ fan club. He seems like the type who would look good in glasses. He’s working hard to study the Kirisian language and arithmetic.

His height is 160 cm, average for an Adernian man. His hair color is black.

Boros, in his forties

He played a crucial role in undermining King Ferme from within. He can do anything, but he’s not particularly good at anything. Jack of all trades, master of none. Easily moved to tears. He recognizes Almus as his master, but his loyalty is dedicated to Tetra. Got a little bit worried when Almus announced his marriage to Julia, but now he seems to have calmed down.

His height is 163 cm, above average for an Adernian man. His hair color is black.

Ordobis

Named after the Ordovician period of the Paleozoic Era a geological era of the Earth, the author thought up his name in three seconds. Has little importance to the story, basically mob patrician A. There’s no need to remember him or distinguish between him and Perm who is mentioned below, the author can’t differentiate them sometimes too.

Perm

Named after the Permian period of the Paleozoic Era a geological era of the Earth, this time it took five seconds for the author to think up his name. Mob patrician B, refer to Ordobis entry. If a character with the name of another geological era appears later, it’s fine to assume that they are mob patrician C.

Bartolo, early 30s

An alcoholic middle-aged man. A very capable alcoholic middle-aged man.

His height is 159 cm. So close! That last centimeter was the source of a small trauma in the past.

Raymond, late 30s

The little brother of King Rosais. His non-combat-related abilities are pretty decent. His ideal is a centralized country led by a powerful monarch, so is happy to assist Almus in becoming a powerful king.

Ismene, 23 years old

Self-proclaimed genius architect. Female. Came to the Adernian Peninsula in search of work. She is still astounded by Almus becoming the king.

Akira Seimei, 22 years old

Aspiring novelist. Traveler. He has already seen the farthest sea and fulfilled his parents’ long-cherished wish. Now he accompanies Ismene while writing. He is also shocked by Almus’ rise to the throne.
The writing of his novel seems to be progressing well.

Josef, late 20s

A subordinate of Ron. Quite skilled in swordsmanship. Captain of a hundred men (Centurion).

Dola, early 20s

Happy to be officially employed as a magician. She is contemplating that it might be time to consider marriage.

Amerigo, 30s

Struggling with desk work, but continues to battle with paperwork daily to feed his family.

Friendly People

King Rosais, late 30s

Cunning fox with a foot on the other side. His hair follicles are in the same state as his health but it seems his life will end first. He has decided to wait to die until after seeing his grandchild. The cause of the illness is unknown, but it’s probably terminal cancer.
His height is 162 cm, a little above average for an Adernian man. His hair color is gray.

Mutzio, 19 years old

The second son of the chieftain of the Equus Tribe. He has the best archery skills in the Equus Tribe. He is the protagonist’s “only” friend. Being a king is a lonely business…
He also happens to have a fiancée with large breasts.
Has the [Blessing of the Wind Spirit] that lets him control the wind according to him.

Hostile

King Ferme (deceased), late 30s

His name was Roberto. As an antagonist, he had a relatively peaceful death.

Rigal Dibel (deceased), early 20s

Died from a fairy-related scandal case. Every pore in his body started spurting blood after the reversal of his blessing was triggered. Had the same blessing as the protagonist.

Belmet (deceased), 82 years old

Died after being caught in Iarl’s scheme. In reality, he died due to his advanced age. Thanks to his death, his family was not suspected of treason, so it could be said it was better he died.

Gilbert (deceased), early 20s

Died due to Roswald’s miss (intentional).

Merlin (Kurosaki Mari)

Witch. Commits inhumane acts without batting an eye. She lost her sanity long ago. She was 17 years old at the time of her transfer and still looks 17. She is considered quite attractive. According to the Flat-faced Tribesman A (deceased), 「her crying face is the best.」
Holder of the [Blessing of the Immortal], the effects of her blessing are: Her body’s cells are constantly renewed, so she does not age. Her body will regenerate unless she is killed instantly. She can die if she continues to sustain damage at a rate faster than her regeneration. The regeneration cannot be controlled by her own will.

Neutral (Unknown whether friend or foe)

Ainz, early 30s

A Kirisian merchant. He has a stubborn older brother. Loves making money. Recently, he has been scheming to place Tetra’s child as the crown prince, leading to his demotion to ‘neutral’ due to his machinations.

His height is 155 cm. Unfortunately, height can’t be bought with money. His hair color is black.

Alexios, 23 years old

You can tell he is handsome from his name. And he is indeed handsome. He also wears an eyepatch and has heterochromia. He and Melia are in the middle of their honeymoon. Recently arrived on the Adernian peninsula and seems to be enjoying his newlywed life.

Melia, 22 years old

She was rumored to love animals too much. What she loved too much was Alexios. She and Alexios are in the middle of their honeymoon. She is currently enjoying her newlywed life.

Nikolaos, 38 years old

Advocates for the geocentric model. Although he seems open-minded… he has a rather stubborn mindset as he never considers himself to be wrong even in the slightest.

Aisha, 22 years old

Has the same name as someone from somewhere, but it’s not because the author found it troublesome to come up with a name. Currently the strongest human in the world. She has quite a good relationship with Xerxes. Seems to be submissive in bed. Has several blessings.

[Blessing of the Hunter] When hunting, her physical abilities and body durability increase. By the way, “hunting” is broadly defined, so hunting humans also falls within the scope of this blessing.

[Blessing of the War God] Becomes incredibly strong in combat.

[Blessing of the Crazed Warrior] Activates when the user goes into a killing frenzy, causing explosive increases in physical abilities. However, cognitive abilities decrease.

Xerxes III, 47 years old

Treated by society as an invader, and a greedy emperor, but that’s not the case at all. Rather, he thinks he’d like to pass on the position to someone else if there was anyone capable other than him. He’s very active in bed and has many wives. By the way, Aisha is not his wife but his mistress.

Carlo Domorgal

The crown prince of King Domorgal’s nation, his punishment for the defeat of his army is currently under deliberation.

Rene Blouse

The second son of the Blouse Family. He surrendered the town of Blouse without fighting. His punishment is also under deliberation.

Non-Human

Griffon, over three thousand years old.

The Great Griffon-sama. Lives secluded in the forest. It seems he was quite mischievous in his youth.

Glossary

Magic

It encompasses all kinds of mysterious phenomena, more known for curses and barriers.

Magicraft

Branch of magic that tries to reproduce natural phenomena by the use of arithmetic formulas.

Arcana

A power that breaks or modifies the laws of the world, taboo, a power that should not exist.

Blessing

Mysterious phenomena that are not magic. Those with blessings are rare, and those blessings are often not useful (for example, the [Blessing of Clairvoyance] in a blind person).

Lost Ones

People from another world. All of them possess blessings. The protagonist is also considered a Lost One to some extent. According to Griffon, the cause of the transfer is “those brats”.

Fairies

Griffon-sama refers to them as “those brats”. A race with too much ‘freedom’ who loves to play ‘pranks’. They are divided into three factions: the conservatives, the progressives, and those who don’t care.

King Rosais’ Country

Has been rapidly expanding as of late. Has the greatest national power in the south of the southern part of the Adernian peninsula with a population of about 250,000. The current king is Almus Aris Rosais.

King Evile’s Country

Country to the west of King Rosais’ Country. Its agricultural productivity is low. Its population is about 100,000.

King Belvedire’s Country

Country to the south of King Rosais’ Country. Has fairly high agricultural productivity. Its population is about 100,000.

King Zoldias’ Country

This country is strongly resisting the southern advance of King Gilbed’s Country. Its population is 140,000.

King Karnu’s Country

This country is ruled by a king of Pofenian descent. Its population is 150,000. The Country is steadily expanding its territory.

Alvans

Equus Tribe

Allied with the King Rosais’ Country. Its population is 30,000. Most of its population can be used as soldiers during war, even women and children. They are true-born riders.

King Equus

Dislikes non-nomadic people and detests agriculture, but he is willing to ally with others if necessary. He is troubled by the issue of succession.

Next chieftain of the Equus tribe. Only mentioned by name.

Redus

Third son of King Equus.

Lupus Tribe

Its population is about 30,000. More barbaric than the Equus tribe.

Its population of about 10,000. Subjugated to the Lupus tribe.

A colonial city of the city-state Claris. Ainz has established his base here.

Gehenna

A colonial city of the city-state Alto. Ruled by a tyrant.

A colonial city of the city-state Terbai.

King Domorgal’s Country

It was the largest power in the north of the southern part of the Adernian peninsula. The population decreased from about 400,000 to 300,000. There is a succession dispute within the country. The country is in a very difficult situation.

King Gilbed’s Country

Its population changed from about 370,000 to 400,000 thanks to the integration of several small countries to its south. It is troubled by King Zoldias’ Country’s actions.

King Faldam’s Country

Continues to endure despite being invaded by the Rozel kingdom. Its king likes to party.

Rozel Kingdom

A major power ruling from the southern part of Gallia to the northern part of the Adernian peninsula. Its total population is about 3 million.
