「…Why am I still alive?」

I, Mari Kurosaki, stood up unsteadily.

Was being eaten by wolves just a dream, a hallucination?

I thought so and looked around. A carpet of bright red blood spread out, covering the green grass, with pinkish chunks scattered here and there.

It didn’t take long for me to realize that these were my blood and pieces of my body.

「Ugh, gah, ugh, gah.」

Stomach acid overflowed from my mouth. Just remembering the wolves’ glowing green eyes made my entire body tremble
