Vol 08 Chapter 264: Cavalry

This war has revealed several challenges.

First, the Rozel Kingdom’s defenses are far stronger than anticipated. Even if we defeat them in a pitched battle, once they retreat into their cities, we’re left powerless to act.

As I suspected, unless we can incite an uprising among the local Adernian populace and throw the region into chaos, conquering the Rozel Kingdom will be difficult. On top of that, we’ll need to prepare siege weapons.

Second, we’re severely lacking in cavalry. And not just lacking—a staggering deficiency.

Or rather, the Rozel Kingdom has far too much cavalry!
