Chapter 135 Part 1

The Night of That Day (3) ~BOYS BE AMBITIOUS~

Most of the students who stayed until the stargazing would stay overnight at the boarding house.

Many of them did so probably because they had club activities the next morning and wanted to avoid the hassle of traveling to and from their homes. There were also some students who did so because they wanted to spend the night with their friends, affected by the festive mood.

Naturally, among them, there were also boys and girls who were in romantic relationships.

Having parted ways with Emi halfway up the stairs, Yuu stopped by the student council office to get the change of clothes that he had left there, and then went up to the fourth floor, which was assigned to the boys.

There were a total of 21 boys, including Yuu, who would be staying overnight there, and they were assigned rooms 401 to 403 (each of them was an eight-person room).

Leaving two rooms empty in between, it seemed that the third-year girls would stay in rooms 406 and onwards on the same fourth floor, and the other girls would stay in the rooms beyond all the way to the second floor in order of their grade.

There were no other first-year boys staying overnight there, only second- and third-years, so Yuu was told that he would be sharing a room with second-year boys.

There wasn’t much interaction between the boys who were in different grades, so he only knew a few of them, but he should be able to manage somehow. In fact, he thought about using this opportunity to broaden his circle of friends.

He thought so, but Yuu found himself in an unexpected situation.

As soon as he went up to the fourth floor and got near room 403, he was called out by a third-year student who had gone out to the hallway.

As he was, he was taken to room 401 and was immediately surrounded by a large group of people.

There were more than ten second- and third-year students in the eight-person room, so it felt cramped.

Yuu thought it had been a long time since he had been surrounded by people of the same sex like this outside of the classroom.

At first, he wondered if they were intending to put him, a cheeky first-year student, in his place… or, even if it wasn’t to such an extent, to give him harsh but honest advice as seniors.

As long as they were girls, Yuu would interact amiably with all of them and actively strive to make physical contact with them regardless of their grade, not limited to first years.

In particular, today, he had deepened his connection with second- and third-year girls too, so as expected, that must have been a bit too much.

However, inside the room, he found that their attitude was not a threatening one, so he was relieved.

To begin with, standing at the center of the group was third-year Ichijou Kouki.

The ace of the Kendo club Hayase Mika and singer Ishima Mariko. He was an exceedingly handsome guy who was dating two contrasting but both very attractive third-year girls.

He got acquainted with him when they cheered together at the Kendo club tournament in May.

He had also met and exchanged greetings with him in the rear garden a number of times when he went to the student council, so he didn’t think he disliked him.

On a closer look, there were a few other third-year students who he recognized, as they were also there when they cheered on the Kendo club.

「Hirose-kun… is it true that you’re dating not only the student council president, Komatsu-san, but also the vice president, Hanmura-san, and the second-year secretary-treasury… all three of them at the same time?」

Nodding their heads in agreement, the other seniors around him seemed to be relying on Yuu as well.

When it came to male-female relationships, it was said that in this world, women were proactive and men were passive.

However, as opposed to just being passive, Kouki and the others were trying to put their minds into it too, even if only a little, which he found endearing.
