Theo stared into space as if asking a question to Pandora, and Pandora’s voice echoed in response.

「While facing contradictions and problems, this civilization has grown like a single living thing. Finally, it has obtained the ultimate source of energy… 」

In a room filled with various machines, people dressed in armor-like white clothes were shown to be working on something. Siluca remembers back when she was researching magic at the Magic University, and then the concept of 「the ultimate source of energy」was conveyed to her not in words but in images. That energy could be extracted from 「nihility」. It was made up of small crystals, and a single crystal could semi-permanently power a self-propelled metal carriage or a flying sphere.
